How can I wear make-up, etc. that makes me look older?
I am 15, and only 4 foot 11. I still get mistaken for a child in grade 5! Does anyone have any tips on how to make myself look older. (makeup, etc.)How can I wear make-up, etc. that makes me look older?

I am 15 too but I am 5 6 so I dont have the same deliem as you but I wear natural looking makeup with eyeliner and Mascara and a little bit of blush and I get mistaken for 19 yr. olds sometimes. Definatly dont try putting tons of make-up on all different colors this will just make you look stupid and VERY Yound Ive seen people who have done it and they not only get weird looks but adults dont talk to them because they think they are lil' kids. Just act like you dont care what ppl think how old you r....This will make your appearence seem older.
Since you're so small and petite, try not wearing any make up (people may think you are just another kid playing in their mom's stuff so don't go for dark colors at all) or you could try very natural colors like light brown, honey, light mascara, and cinnamon blush. It would probably make you pop out of that 5th grader box and into the amazing fifteen year old that you are. Good Luck!

I know this East Indian (Gujarati) woman in my botany lab who wears a lot of makeup and looks really good, but would look even so much better if she just took it all off.
It's so obvious that she is gorgeous underneath it. You can tell her skin isn't perfect underneath it, but it's not bad at all, and would actually look better without anything over it. Especially in the long term. Her eyes are HUGE, dark, and deep, and her eyelashes are already like 2 inches long. Her lips are deliciously dark like a plum and the only thing she should even THINK of wearing is lip balm.
As a man, I would think that telling a girl she is so naturally gorgeous that she doesn't need any make-up at all would be a compliment: ';God made you beautiful so you wouldn't have to!';
I think most women would take this badly, like ';you do your makeup badly and look ugly'; kinda thing.

I'm starting my senior year next week. I'm in 2 AP courses, 1 honors, and a foreign language, German. This is my first time taking honors, AP, and a foreign language. Since these are more challenge courses, would colleges look at this when deciding whether to accept me. I have a 2.7 GPA and an 800 SAT (not including writing) and about an 1100 including writing.Do you think my senior year will be able to make up for my low GPA and test scores?

Use mauve eyeshadow with a soft light pink base. This will look so pretty and make your brown eyes stand out. You should not match your eye shadow with your dress. That looks weired. You should go for brown with a little glitter and dark brown eye pencil, not liquid eyeliner. If you go to buy the eyeshadow in the mall like clinque, you can ask them for a makeover and get makeup done the day of your prom for free! But you will need to buy that eye pencil or eye shadow in order to get that makeover. That will look great with light brown hair. Have fun at your prom! Good Luck!

I would pick up one of those tricolor palletes eyeshadows in blue. You usually sweep the medium color on the pallete across your entire lid, at the crease of your eyes the darkest color...make sure you blend and shade, and last but on the lightest color underneath your eyebrow..make sure you blend here too. I wouldn't use a jet black eyeliner but
a black-brown would be good, a little mascara and your ready to roll. Just remember practice makes perfect with eyemake up so try it out a bit, experiment w/ color before your big night ...Have fun.
you can try using light blue or silver eye-shadow. use glittery blue eye liner and blue mascara and there you are!!!!
get a dark blu and wight first put blu on then put wight on and it will give ya a nice mathing coler
It would be fab if you used a similar color to you're dress, but highlighted your eyes 1st with a shimmery white, your eyes will look lovely.
Don't forget some black/grey eyeliner to add drama.

Skin tones. and your favorite colors that make you feel good, because ulimately it's all about you looking smoken hot!!! And feeling your absolute best!!! It's Your nite, and you will always remember it. So be that Sparkel, and everything and everybody around you will to.
Try to work in some golds. look up evening styles of make up, copy those.

if you put just a little neutral blue shimmery eyeshadow on, some BROWN (not black you would look goth) eyliner and some BROWN (same reason as above) mascara on without putting extra layers on you should be good to go
I used to be a male model so I know a little about make up,but I am not gay!!!You should try something a little shimmery,dont go too icey blue or you will look too cold,try something warm,lillac or a light mauve,your makeup doesnt have to match your dress it should look as natural as possible.good luck

I would use a light beige shimmer all over and brown liner. contrast usually looks better than matching the dress.
Use mauve eyeshadow with a soft light pink base. This will look so pretty and make your brown eyes stand out. Mauve also goes with your blue dress. i would even go with either a soft pink lipstick with a semi shine lip gloss or a light brown/nude lip colour also with a semi shine gloss. i think to go with blue eyeshadow is too common and may look tacky. You have brown eyes and light brown hair so when you use these colours i mentioned above these features will be accentuated.
Don't wear any make-up you look pretty just the way you are.

You should not match your eye shadow with your dress. That looks weired. You should go for brown with a little glitter and dark brown eye pencil, not liquid eyeliner. If you go to buy the eyeshadow in the mall like clinque, you can ask them for a makeover and get makeup done the day of your prom for free! But you will need to buy that eye pencil or eye shadow in order to get that makeover. That will look great with light brown hair. Have fun at your prom! Good Luck!
