I heard Stri-Vectin is the way to go.What is the best make up to cover stretch marks?
If you have stretch, no matter how noticable, make up isnt really going to cover up anything. If you are comfortable with them i say you should just leave them. Think about it, is anybody really paying attention to your stretch marks girl lol. If you want to get rid of them try Avons Re-Fine Strech Mark Smoother. My sister n law after she had a baby used this and the results were great. You couldnt really tell that she even had stretch marks to begin with. It isnt very cheap thou it cost about 13 dollars for a large tube of it. If you use cocoa butter dont lol, the only thing cocoa butter is going to do is mosturize your skin. What is the best make up to cover stretch marks?
how noticible aare they? Where are they? And are they the type of stretch marks that are rough and bumpy like or just smooth skin?
well when i was younger{23 now} I was quite big and long wide strech marks. however I got off my bum and worked at a vehicle manufacturing plant in adelaide South Australia they are hardly visible now. its bloody hard work yes but Id rather do some hard work than die of problems bieng too big. anyway I aint a chick so I dont know much about makeup
you cant really - but moisture them well - try a product called ';bio-oil'; - have had good results with this
Try the Avon cream that works for my friend.

Must you get a cosmetology license to get a job as a make-up artist?
I am interested in learning make-up techniques, but don't care to learn about hair, nails, and all that other stuff that they teach you in Cosmetology school.Must you get a cosmetology license to get a job as a make-up artist?
Cosmetologists aren't taught makeup. It's a common misconception that you go to a beauty school to become a makeup artist. That just isn't true. Beauty schools are for people who want to do skincare, haircare, and nails NOT makeup. 9 times out of 10 they don't even employ a teacher for makeup you just read a chapter in a book on it. To learn makeup you want to go to a makeup school. The most highly rated are:
MUD (Burbank California and New York)
Westmore academy (Burbank California)
Complexions (Canada ..imo one of the best out there)
Vancouver film school (canada if you want to specialize in film)
Makeup forever schools (Paris)
Don't bother with the beauty schools for makeup artistry. You'll learn no makeup and won't get any jobs because you won't have the training needed.Must you get a cosmetology license to get a job as a make-up artist?
Review the laws in your state. Makeup artists in California do not need a license.
It's an amazing skill to have all of them..
I am speaking for the state of PA. it is necessary to
attend a 9-month program at a Beauty School.
Or 1250 hours of training, and that entitles you to do hands on clients. ( also licensed to do hair, within your state)
Now, nails are seperate, the schooling is a total of 300 hours about 3-months. ( But Make-up is included in a cosmetologist's licenses).
Each state varies, however if you check at any local Beauty School and most requirements are similar. The hours vary a little, thats all.
Our State requirements are sometimes difficult and not always
in the best intrest of a person wanting to get started in a field
they enjoy.
Good Luck!

What are your best make-up tips and beauty secrets?
We all have them what are your best make-up and fashion tips?
Here are mine.........
-to make your eyes pop i get a lip stick looking concealer and put it on as eye Shadow makes my eyes look like big puppy eyes!
-I always go for the air whipped mascara it gives me both volume and length!
-get a lip liner the sam color as your lips put it on and it makes your lips look more fuller!
That's it for now what are yours?? :)What are your best make-up tips and beauty secrets?
- never brush your foundation up, because it goes against the hairline of your face, making it ugly. =]
- white eyeshadow works as a great base for the entire lid, no matter what look your trying to achive.
- an eyelash comb works great to seperate lashes that get clumped together. What are your best make-up tips and beauty secrets?
*I pat foundation on my lower eyes above my cheek when i use dark or shimmery eye shadows for it won't look all wierd and smudge.
*If I run out of concealer I use an eye primer beige that is my color
*I wiggle my wand to left to right to make them longer.
*I use a lip balm not to wet before i use lip gloss or lipstick
:)
When using mascara concentrate on the bottom of the top lashes first and coat it a few times then sweep upward.
For a more airbrushed look put your blush on under your powder and set with a face mist.
Putting dark eyeshadow over your liner gives you a more natural flawless look

If i use a make-up remover, can i forego washing my face with a cleanser? or do i still need to wash my face?
I noticed that a facial cleanser is not enough to remove all of my make-up like mascara and eyeliner. My friend suggested make-up remover. After using the remover, i feel that my face is not yet clean. Is using a facial cleanser to wash my face too much after using the make-up remover? If i use a make-up remover, can i forego washing my face with a cleanser? or do i still need to wash my face?
use bothIf i use a make-up remover, can i forego washing my face with a cleanser? or do i still need to wash my face?
you should still wash your face to get rid of any excess oils that may still be on your face.
i use a make up remover first, and then i wash my face with noxema.
i pretty much only get pimples when its that time of the month, so i think my regimen works well :)
yes ur right, make wipes dont take all ur makeup off. they remove ur mascara and eyeshadow-stuff like that but i u wear foundation or heavier stuff it is better to use a facial wash which removes makeup and dirt also. this will prevent breakouts and stop pores from getting clogged.
Make up remover removes the make-up, usually it is oil %26amp; water emulsion. There' s oil left over. Use a gentle cleanser afterwards, like Nutrogena Liquid Cleanser.
i buy the daily facial wipes...removes all the makeup and cleans the face in one easy step.
after removing makeup, use a cleanser, exfoliate (every other day if your skin is sensitive), moisturize, and in the morning use SPF and at night restore.
You don't have to wash it afterwards with cleanser, I just recommend that you rinse it off.
Just splash your face with a little bit of water.
Wash your face. If you don't then imagine that all those chemicals are still on your face from the makeup remover and the remover may still contain some makeup dirt in it. If it's too much for you to wash your face at least splash water and pat it down.
well what i do is i use eye makeup remover and take off my eye make up first and then i wash my face with a makeup remover foam. and vola. you face should be washed to get the dirt from ur pores. even though some cleansers can do it. the water wil help.
No it shouldnt not unless it is a harsh facial cleanser such as noe that is very drying.
Use a cream fasical wash and it should be fine.

How to i convince my parents that im mature enough to wear make up when i cant even confront them about it ?
Im scared of their reaction. They are both Aries so they get angry very easily .They always want me to follow the footsteps of my older sisters.(who started wearing makeup in college)And i am the youngest so i dont think they want to let go of their ';little girl'; Im sometimes think they wont let me go at all.How to i convince my parents that im mature enough to wear make up when i cant even confront them about it ?
Whoah--how old are you? I just started wearing makeup when I wanted to. I just walked into my mom's room and subtly used some of hers one day...either no one noticed or didn't care enough to say anything. So then next time we went to the store I bought my own stuff with my own money--you know, to avoid and possible protests from the parents. Now, it's just like a regular routine for me to wear the stuff if I want. I always do things in that way; gradually work in what I'm trying to get at and it seems to work--you should try it. If your parents say something though, then sorry;,you have to listen and respect your parents and their wishes. How to i convince my parents that im mature enough to wear make up when i cant even confront them about it ?
It seems you are not mature enough yet if you are too afraid to ask.....
ask to start off with lipliner, or eyeliner and lip gloss
just kind of show a little more responsibility and then wear make up that you cant really tell if on
light makeup
dont wear it dark
if you are not mature enough to have a rational conversation with your parents, then they are correct in the assumption that you are not mature enough to wear make-up. Try talking to them, you may be surprised.
well maybe you are too young sweetie, natural is the best way to go, once you start wearing makeup you cant stop cuz you'll look horrible, and its bad for your skin.. etc.. if you can even confront them about it they your not mature enough.. usually kids that say they are mature arent, im sorry to say.. i didnt start wearn make up until i was 16, theres really no rush .. your beautiful natural is the way to go
show them things like eyeshadow but not dark ones that make you look scary and wear light lip gloss then tell them see its not so bad then show them eyeliner and mascara and yup yup!!
well, soon enough they wont have a choice. I would tell them that at your age it is perfectly normal and that most girls at school do. I would also tell them you will start off with something quite subtle so as not to create a big dramatic scene.
Write them a note explaining whhy you think your mature anogh to weatr makeup!if they still say no show them how mature you are and maybe they will let you wear makeup!goodluck!
It all depends on how old you are? I think that right around 12 or 13 you can start wearing make-up. thats when i started but after a few year i decided i really didn't like wearing it that much so now i don't wear it very much at all. But good luck with everything
do it if you want. but you will not look good for your age. they are right to therr decission that you should be that age first before wearing make up.
Make sure that if you decide to experiment that you remember that a little is better than a lot. There is nothing worse than too much makeup.
Start off with light make up, like soft eyeshadow, nude glosses etc. This will slowly move them into the concept you are ready to wear makeup. Being the youngest your parents will probably be more protective over you so don't wear heavy black or dark colours that make you look like your acting like a older woman. Make sure you give the impression that you are doing the make up for *you* not to attract others - which is a deterrent for parents. Good luck!
sweetie i had the same problem. just buy some and put it on at school.
Well show them how responcible you are (that shows them you are mature) and don't be afraid to confront them.
first off, we all know that some girls just aren't pretty with makeup on... but if you happen to be one of those naturally pretty people, i wouldn't ruin your face with a whole lot of makeup,I'm 14 and i don't wear to much because i don't really need all that much, but just start by wearing mascera, or just a subtle shad of pink lipstick or some nude shades of eyeshadow, when your parents start to notice just say i think i am responsible enough to wear it and control the amount i put on without making myself look like a clown, if you would like to support my decision, you could give me tips and we could have some bonding mother daughter time... that always used to work with my mom lol good luck!

How many cell layers make up an onion tissue?
when we look the onion tissue under a microscope, it looked like it has two layers but then, I doubt it because of the pics I saw in the Net.How many cell layers make up an onion tissue?
If you are referring to an epidermal peel, then it is one layer. Sometimes in placing the epidermal peel on the siide, the epidermis will fold over itself creating a double layer.
If you made a thin section of a single piece of the onion, then you would see an epidermis, parenchyma tissues, and another epidermis. You could likely see vascular tissue in a cross-section of the onion.

What's the one make-up/beauty product that you're really glad you found?
Please not loads of answers saying ';My GHD straighteners';...!
For me, it's probably 'Boi-ing' concealer by Benefit. On the box it says 'Industrial strength concealer' and it certainly seems to be, plus I only need to use a little bit so it lasts ages.

What is the best make-up you have used?
I need to change my make-up. I have been doing the same bronzer, lashings of mascara, glossy nude lips, aka J-Lo, for too long. I am 25 and want to try out some new looks. Any brands or web-sites for tips? I have straight black hair in a new choppy rock mullet style, honey tan skin, medium brown eyes and full lips. I use Revelon at the moment and have a few L贸real and Maybelline products. I have always wanted to try MAC? Any suggestions ladies? What is the best make-up you have used?
MAC! it has such great products. I went in with a few girlfriends and they told us what color bronzers, blushes, eyeliners, eye shadows, mascaras, and lip color. Everything you could imagine. They are so helpful and my girlfriends and I have all gotten compliments on our new makeup. Good luck! What is the best make-up you have used?

Why exactly do children make up imaginary friends?
Is there any kind of psychology behind children who make up imaginary friends? Why exactly do children make up imaginary friends?
I think that lonely children that don't ';fit in'; make imaginary friends so that they feel like they have someone to talk to.
My second theory..
Some children make up imaginary friends just to brag about how cool their's is compared to their friends'.
I don't really know for sure... I never had an imaginary friend. Why exactly do children make up imaginary friends?
no idea... i had a fairy as an imaginary friend when i was younger xD
...she had nice shoes
ooh ok ive just thought of a psychological reason!
it could be because young children dont have very good social skills and tend to like things done their way, not realising that they cant have it all, but if they have an imaginary friend they get to control what their ';friend'; says and does with no disagreements ;)
ooh get me xD
It is their way to entertain themselves. In some situations, children think that their imaginary friend is the only one who can understand (emotionally) them. Their ';friends'; help them deal with whatever may happen in their young lives. Sometimes it is what they wish they could be (like a princess).
most of the children that make up imaginary friends are because they're lonely. I've never had one.

I still make up imaginary friends and I left childhood behind a long time ago... =D

Who says they're imaginary? They could be talking to spirits or their spirit guide or angels.
Because their parents didn't love them enough.
Good question. I never had one so I couldn't tell you.
Maybe they are lonely?

What major blood vessels make up the coronary circuit of the heart?
to add to the above answer:
The LAD (left anterior descending) has branches called the diagonals, of which there may be several.
The circumflex has branches call obtuse marginals
An additional branch, in a percentage of people is called a ramus intermediate and is located between the LAD and the Circ.
Of note, this is just the arterial vessels of the heart. What major blood vessels make up the coronary circuit of the heart?
The two main coronary arteries are the left and right coronary arteries. The left coronary artery (LCA), which divides into the left anterior descending (LAD) artery and the circumflex (CX) branch, supplies blood to the heart ventricles and left atrium. The right coronary artery (RCA), which divides into the right posterior descending artery and a large marginal branch

Why is it that if your are quite on the job, people make up rumours about you?
I have heard so many rumours about people on the job that was not true that I knew personally! I heard that one of my associates is gay on the job, and the other one, a lady, is sleeping around on the job with a lot of men that work on my job. I heard that a lady is gay as well, I heard a guy whisper this to another person while walking to my office. The gay rumour I know is popular with black men that speak very proper, which my friend does. Why is it that if your are quite on the job, people make up rumours about you?
Great minds talk about ideas, mediocre minds talk about events, small minds talk about other people.
I will leave it at that. Why is it that if your are quite on the job, people make up rumours about you?
Rumours always lead to gossip and gossip always ends up coming back to bite the rumour-starter in the a s s. They are created due to many reasons such as boredom, jealousy, envy, etc. There's nothing you can do except attempt to put matters straight with those who started it. Confrontation can be a real b*tch for some people, which in the long run is what they need.
It's so true! I'm quiet at work and this one woman says ';It's the quiet ones you have to watch!'; whilst scrutinizing me closely. I did mention that I used to have a girlfriend and now they reckon I live some kind of kamikaze life involving sex with anything that moves. I want to say 'all because I like women, doesn't mean I live a promiscuous life!', I have been single for over a year.
Office gossip. I hate it. I try to stay out of it and I get labled as mean and nasty.
But unlike the largest gossips in the place, I've never called into the big bosses office to get yelled at.
It all works out.
err......
If you don't talk people become agitated and take it upon themselves to define your character which is usually for the worse...
Can't people just be coy without actually being twistingly profound?
Its probably because if your quiet your not likely to say anything back to the people who make up rumours. If your loud and popular, your gonna say something, arent you!? x
They will talk regardless. In my experience, it's the one's with the most f*cked up lives that start the rumors.
It sounds like the people you work with aren't exactly staying busy doing what they are paid to do if they have enough time to nurture all these rumors.
People like that think its easier to pick on people thats not going to stand up for themselves.

Why do right wingers make up stories about ACORN?
Isn't this a Fake Issue started by FOX ';News'; to feed to stupid, terrified right wingers? Isn't this a story to cover up Republican voter fraud?
Both parties have contributed to and supported ACORN in the past. So it's amusing to see the political right so dedicated to this particular Karl Rove lie.Why do right wingers make up stories about ACORN?
Agreed. It was ACORN that notified the election official about the registration fraud. ;))Why do right wingers make up stories about ACORN?
This is a perfect example of somebody telling a lie and then a bunch of people swearing to it! Rove has started a few rumors, and so has Cheney, and Republicans jump on them as though they are from the scriptures! Then, they spread the rumors like wildfire and gullible idiots believe them. It's just the Republican way and seems to be a part of their platform!
Just Google Acorn voting scandal and you will see many sources other than fox and you will also read about many criminal investigations against Acorn that lead all the way to the White House also. How can you deny all this press coverage? Is it because is shows Obama and his Liberal Party in a bad light? I am amazed at the lengths you Democrats will go to hide the truth.
They learn it from Glenn Beck, a recovering alcoholic and his family has a history of mental illness.
He believes its a satanic organization that is going to take over America, and that they commit voted fraud. Even if they did popular vote doesn't matter electoral do.
Well cnn had caught them in voter fraud.

You must be and ACORN employee. The place stinks with fraud in many states....its systemic and that is not an accident.

if those stories are made up, how come ACORN is under investigation by the FBI?

According to the law, registered voters must sign, print their name and list their address on petitions calling for a ballot initiative. It doesn't take a handwriting expert to see that many of these were filled out by the same person.
ACORN Is A Bad Seed
Something’s rotten in the state of New Mexico, and Ohio, and Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and Florida, and…
ACORN calls itself a community group, but it is really a multi-million-dollar, multi-national conglomerate. Its political agenda is driven by a relative handful of political thugs for hire. ACORN spends millions promoting economic policies (like raising the minimum wage), but doesn't always want to abide by them.
In fact, ACORN sued the state of California to get out of paying its own employees the minimum wage, and even fought their efforts to create a union.
Before “subprime” became a household word, ACORN waded into the mortgage market, supporting policies that helped lay the groundwork for the catastrophic lending collapse of 2008. Working with another activist group, the Center for Responsible Lending, ACORN lobbied legislators and banks to ensure that any person, regardless of credit history, income, or assets, would qualify for a mortgage. They mastered the art of pressuring banks – often through radical and controversial methods – to provide subprime loans to all comers. It was many of these “toxic” loans that defaulted and sparked the subprime mortgage crisis.
ACORN's influence extends to the political sphere as well. The group is perhaps best known for its widely-reported role in voter fraud across the country.
During the last two election cycles, it was under investigation for election fraud and related offenses in nearly 20 states. Want examples?
ACORN returned to the national spotlight during the 2008 election when its employees turned in fraudulent voter registration files, including listing the Dallas Cowboys’ starting lineup as voters in Nevada. This blatant attempt at fraud led authorities to raid ACORN’s offices in the state. Not to be outdone, ACORN canvassers in Florida actually attempted to turn in forms registering Mickey Mouse as a voter. And ACORN managed to register a seven-year old girl to vote in Connecticut. The list goes on.
Nation-wide investigations into ACORN’s role in voter fraud have yielded dozens of indictments. Nevada recently charged ACORN with 26 counts of voter registration fraud and 13 counts of illegally compensating canvassers. In Pennsylvania, seven Pittsburgh-area ACORN employees were charged with falsifying voter registration forms. Six of them were accused of doing so to meet an illegal quota system.
Considering the number of voter fraud incidents still under investigation, expect more charges in the coming months.
Now ACORN is lobbying to get more of your hard earned tax dollars to fund their fraud.
It’s time to send a message to ACORN and the government that is funding them. It’s time to end the corruption.

Why did the Japanese make up stories about Hiroshima /nagasaki and the Atomic bomb?
Thw Japanese just exploded a plane in the air and exaggerated the smoke to make it look like a devastating blast. They made it up to prove that Americans are world bullies.
In reality, the bomb was never used. It was an optical ilusion created by the Japanese to trick the world into thinking US is a bully. Why did the Japanese make up stories about Hiroshima /nagasaki and the Atomic bomb?
Your question has several problems.
Firstly, you are suggesting that the use of an atomic bomb would equate with being a ';bully';. Wrong. The atomic weapon was justifiably used to stop the bully (imperial japan) who had attacked the US unprovoked (pearl harbor)
Secondly, the atomic bomb was in fact really used during the 2nd world war.Why did the Japanese make up stories about Hiroshima /nagasaki and the Atomic bomb?
your an idiot, my neighbors moved from hiroshima and thier kids have birth defects because of the radiation left by the bomb, i dont know how you believe that considering the amount of pics and movies taken. get a ******* life nutcase, there is nothing more annoying than stupid *** conspirators Report Abuse
In reality, your a liar, there is much proof about the bombs. We used them as a quick alternative to end WW2 then using Operation Downfall, which was a full scale invasion of Japan which would have costed many more lives.
We do not need your ignorance clouding up the place, go to some whack job conspiracy forum and discuss the UFO you saw last night.
yes did you notice emperor hirohito ...WAS NOT IN NAGASAKI? HMMMM???
And HALLIBURTON has been linked to the emperor?

LOL, I love this question :D
Stared.
Yeah they are liars, and descendants of dead liars that had their faces melted off by the US atomic bombs. However, they bombed us first and used what they had available to them (kamikaze), but would have used atomic bombs if they had them which makes them bullies and us heroes. But now they do have them , DAMN!!
It's all a ';mirage, dude.'; Thanks for the 2.
Watch Akira Kurosawa's Rhapsody in August then see if you feel like posting another inane question that disrepects the victims of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
are you a F*cking retard! I hope you are joking!!! You need to get your facts straight!!!!
Why try to take away credit from the fine pilots who delivered those bombs to Japan. The Japanese govt thought they could conquer us,and we made it clear in very short order that they were wrong, and should be proud of that fact. But since you're clearly not that bright I'll give you a break I guess.

Which is better mineral make-up bare essentials or mac?
I have or well had pretty bad acne for years now. Now that most of it is cleared up, I wear mineral make - up. I'm kind of wondering which is a better brand to test out next because right now i'm using Sheer Minerals and well it's ok but definately not top quality. HELP!Which is better mineral make-up bare essentials or mac?
I use MAC make up and Mary Kay for cleaning skin. Believe it or not, I got more compliments when I statred using Mary Kay products. BTW.. I am not a consultant for MK.Which is better mineral make-up bare essentials or mac?
i love both. bare minerals looks very natural n pretty n it doenst break me out
mac looks great ...i look very polished n made up ...but it matches my skin n looks fab but i can only wear it on special occasions because i find it clogs my pores after frequent use.
so yea...i have both (i use studio fix) ...i use em depending on the occasion n mood
I definitely like bare esscentuals better. (from sephora). it is expensive but i think its worth it. the mac had something in it that irritated my skin, but maybe that's because it's sensitive.
hi
i will recommend Artistry essentials makeup its 100% pure mineral makeup. It鈥檚 easy to use; creates a flawlessly natural finish; and here鈥檚 the best part- it鈥檚 actually good for your skin!
http://www.makesmartchoice.com i personaly use this its amazing
hope it help
MAC is kind of meant for stage makeup, so its really thick and heavy. I tried bare minerals and it ruined my complexion- I became a person with millions of zits. I heard that it also did this many other women. So pick between pancake makeup or something that could break you out.
bare essentials !!! you want quality that is the wayt to go!
personally i use M-A-C, its so good on my skin. i would go to a M-A-C store and ask to get a make over and tell the makeup artist your concerns. But i would recomment M-A-C Makeup to anyone. I LOVE IT! good LUCK!
I relly prefer MAC.
Bad if you're skin is acne prone,
better go for bare esscentuals.
M.A.C. fix fluid liquid make-up gives you better coverage.

What is the best make-up for sensitive and teary eyes?
I'm currently using eye-drops for the teary eyes part, but my eyes are sensitive [nothing i can do bout that!].. best eyeliner and mascara.. or anything else.
Extra Q : what is the besssst concealer, i hated all of mine!!! they are always too grey or too dark.. nothing is perfect :s:s !What is the best make-up for sensitive and teary eyes?
As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years I know and truly understand your problem. The best successful product I found that works across the board is bee luscious cosmetics auto liner with chamomile and aloe vera. It works like nothing else on the market. What is the best make-up for sensitive and teary eyes?
best make up for sensitive and teary eyes, I'd prefer the product of ';Anna Sui';. for that too but anna sui help my eyes not get better.
suggest you the concealer? I'd suggest the ';Satin Luster face palette'; of Fresh cosmetic. composed off 3 lighten concealers that is pale pink, ivory cream and white pearl.
I've got the same problem. The only thing that I've found that doesn't cause problems is the mineral type makeups. My problem is severe to the point that I've had my eyes swell shut. I was really skeptical when someone recommended the mineral makeup... but I've been using it for several months with NO problems.

best make up for sensitive and teary eyes, I'd prefer the product of ';Anna Sui';. for that too but anna sui help my eyes not get better.
suggest you the concealer? I'd suggest the ';Satin Luster face palette'; of Fresh cosmetic. composed off 3 lighten concealers that is pale pink, ivory cream and white pearl.
I've got the same problem. The only thing that I've found that doesn't cause problems is the mineral type makeups. My problem is severe to the point that I've had my eyes swell shut. I was really skeptical when someone recommended the mineral makeup... but I've been using it for several months with NO problems.
Is Sheer Cover mineral make-up worth the buy, and how is it applied?
I see their commercials on TV with Leeza Gibbons, and the make-up looks really good. However, I had a problem when I ordered another mineral make-up from Avon. The powder would ';settle'; into creases in my skin and I hardly have a wrinkle! Maybe Sheer Cover is better? Any advice on using it? I moisturize my skin before applying my make-up and don't want Sheer Cover (if I buy it) to look unnatural or weird on me.Is Sheer Cover mineral make-up worth the buy, and how is it applied?
I have sheer cover and it does work pretty well. it comes with concealer and then 3 shades of mineral powder. you can mix and match the shades of powder to fit your skin tone, just brush a bit onto the inside of your wrist. after you found your shade apply a tiny bit of the concealer onto blemishes and then brush the powder over your face until it looks natural. your blemishes will disappear and it looks so natural! Is Sheer Cover mineral make-up worth the buy, and how is it applied?
i wouldn't buy it because it leaves spots on your face un covered. it was the worst make up i have ever bought.
A favorite mineral makeup of mine that works very well and is very reasonably priced is Everyday Minerals. Their products work very well and they give generous sample sizes. They also have a wide range of shades to choose from as well as several types of concealers and finishing powders. Another plus is that they don't use some of the more questionable ingredients found in other mineral makeup. I would give them a try before you spend your money on Sheer Cover.
For more information, check out this article: http://www.natural-beauty-info.com/miner鈥?/a>
I dont reccommend buying it
Both Sheer Cover and the mineral makeup from avon contain bismuth, a skin irritant. They also both contain other ingredients than minerals which make them apply differentlly than a pure mineral makeup would. A true mineral makeup is designed to set on top of the skin and not ';into'; it.
I use kms mineral essentials and love the finish and wear I am getting out of it. It is one of the few pure mineral cosmetics out there. Love it.

Model Audition, What should I wear an how should i do my make-up?
Okay, here's the thing.
Tomarrow i have an Modeling audition, and i don't know what kinda clothing to wear and how to have my hair and make-up. Any tips ??? Help Please ?Model Audition, What should I wear an how should i do my make-up?
the less makeup the better...keep it as natural as possible. as for the clothes wear something nice, but not to elegantModel Audition, What should I wear an how should i do my make-up?
models dont have ';auditions';....this may be a scam. is it a ';go-see'; that your agent booked for you? if so, they dont want a lot of makeup- in fact where almost none. also, simple all the way around: tank or tight t-shirt in a solid color and jeans and heals, and hair in a ponytail. if you dont have an agent though, and it is open call, there will probably be hundreds of girls there and its probably some weird non-paid thing, so dont bother.
dont wear too much makeup

this isnt an official answer, but you should put some more details in your outfit, like what colors you want to wear and what your skin tone is and what tone you want your outfit to say. you might get more answers that way. :]
Something that will make you look tall and ur hair in a sophisticated look... also high heels and a mini dress. Light on the makeup but still some blush.
wear clothes to elongate your legs, wear your hair loose and semi big so they can see they have a lot to work with.
very plain clothes minimal make up so they can see your real beauty

If I have already graduated, can my diploma be taken away because have a credit left to make up?
My old principal let me walk at graduation and gave me my diploma, but I still have a math credit left to make up. Can my diploma get taken away?If I have already graduated, can my diploma be taken away because have a credit left to make up?
They put in your records that you have Math pending. If you don't pass the Math, you are not considered a graduate.
They do that in college too. If you have one class left, they would allow you to graduate but with the condition that you will finish that course and pass it. So in your records, it will show that you are missing a class and without that class you are not a graduate.
They will mark you as a undergraduate or a drop out!If I have already graduated, can my diploma be taken away because have a credit left to make up?

Which line of mineral make up is best?
I want to try out a mineral makeup that will give me a more even complexion and full-coverage. Almost every line of makeup has mineral makeup so I wanted to know what is good for acne-prone/blotchy skin.Which line of mineral make up is best?
I like Bare Escentuals. However if you want more intensive coverage using less powder or more intense color, I also like Micabella. If budget is a concern then Physician's Formula is ok.Which line of mineral make up is best?
Bare Essentials, they have awesome deals on QVC too...I'd check it out...
Go for the brands that offer samples. That way you can find the perfect shade without wasting too much money. Some brands only have like three colors, which is just silly. I think you need to get a shade that is very close to your own color. I have tried Monave and SimpleJar. I am currently using the SimpleJar because their Venus Guytrap color is perfect for my skintone. Both websites sell samples and sample kits, SimpleJar is cheaper for most things. Good luck, you should enjoy mineral makeup as long as you don't pile it on too heavy!
bare minerals for powder foundation, it has nice colors that give your skin a good glow and it keeps everything looking natural.
mary-kay for liquid fondation, i have found it to blend the best and be the least dense feeling thing. Sometimes mixing it with a drop or two of water or a little bit of lotion can change the color to make it lighter and the lotion will soothe your skin.
hope this helps!
Physician's Formula is good and inexpensive. Alison Rafaele is good but fairly pricey.
I have used any name of mineral makeup that you could think of. Here is the list of some, but not all: Everyday Minerals, Jane Iredale, Bare Escentuals, Youngblood, Physician Formula, Philosophy, Sheer Cover, Loreal, Millani, Glo Minerals, and many more ... The purest one that is great in coverage and actually heals skin problems is Everyday Minerals, Intensive Formula. It looks natural and your skin will look flawless. Try everydayminerals.com and go on their blog. You can get a discount right there.
bare minerals. it evens out your face while giving u a healthy glow.
I think mineral makeup are better for your skin. I like Neutrogena. I use the sheer mineral powder and the mineral blush which I love. Physicians Formula is a good brand and so is L'Oreal. It's just a matter of finding the right color for your skin and what price range you are looking for.
Everyday Minerals is good. It's cheaper than Bare Minerals - and as good or maybe even better.

I also find that Jane is pretty decent.
I find the online store joelle*bare cosmetics to be wonderful and cost efficient. Check it out on ebay or google. It defintely is affordable and is easy to purchase online. From one user of product - not an employee.
The very best is Bee Luscious Cosmetics Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation it is the most amazing foundation I have ever used. It gives you a full coverage but drys powdery soft it will make your skin look and feel flawless its truly the most amazing product I have ever used in my life

make up tipsWhat is the best make-up for someone with brown hair and blue eyes?
1. If the skin of this beautiful lady is white...... the eyebrows could be marked with black liner.... ( I don't know the exact word for the stuff they use for eyebrows )
2. And of course, light red on her lips.....
That's more than enough.......What is the best make-up for someone with brown hair and blue eyes?
You can Try Bronze, Pink, green or brown shades.
line the eyes.
Eyeshadow in blue and brown, eyeliner in deep blue, mascara in black. Try these products by Mark-
I-Mark in Daybreaker, Tough Luxe, Tiki and Wings
Eyemarker in Dark Denim
Comb Out Mascara in Raven
Shades Of Pink!
Your makeup choices should not only be based on your eye and hair color, but also your skin tone.
With my blue eyes, I notice that black mascara alone can do the trick, sometimes. Also, try navy or deep brown eyeliner. But don't overdo it. They are both less harsh than black.
If you have a little bit of grey in your eyes, using a neutral grey shade can offset the blue and bring it out.
If all else fails, go with brown. Depending on your skin tone, you can choose a brown with red or gold/yellow undertones. Try both and pick which is right for you.
I read somewhere that to make your blue eyes appear more blue - you should use brownish - earthy colours for eye shadow
Lashings of black mascara always helps bring eyes out...you could also experiment with blue eyeliner...depends on the shade of blue your eyes are :) Hope this helps...
Almay Intense-i-color for blues. Looks great on my friend w/brownhair and blue eyes. Good Luck!

Does anyone have good make up tips for school?
Does anyone have any good subtle, yet cool makeup tips for me? I go to a semi-strict private school, and I'd like to experiment with some techniques and colors, but I'm not sure what is too extreme or not. can someone help me out?
THANKS!Does anyone have good make up tips for school?
put eyeliner
mascara
and
lip gloss
a lil bit of blush
light colored eyeshadow
:)Does anyone have good make up tips for school?
hahah i was private schooled too!
what you want is a subtle but still enhancing look.
i say make the most you can outta blush w/o looking old.
or if you're dark skinned bronzer is ur best friend.
a lip gloss will do you just fine. lip stick sucks plus it makes you get really self conscious.
use a mascara in ur hair color to curl and lengthen your eyelashes.
apply eye liner when in the mood on the bottom part of your eye only for kicks.
you can make do w/o the rest!
I went to a private school as well, and I could not part with my powder compact. Of course I didn't really need it all that much, but it was great to have during boring classes. My favorite basics for school? Mascara, lip gloss, and blush. Just a little concealer for any unsightly breakouts, and I was good to go!
Try brushing a little bronzer on you cheeks and lightly over the rest of your face and decolletage. Cover any spots with a medicated concealer and use a touch of brown mascara on the tips of your eyelashes. Lastly I would apply a little clear lip gloss. The trick is to make it look natural, otherwise you'll probably get told by teachers to wash it off anyway, just as they did to me in my day.
yes......dont over do your make-up. you will eventually have a bad reputation..................trust me it happens!!!!!
eye shadow
lip gloss
blush
perfume
- whatever it is DON';T die your hair
my cous got expelled :D
Just use lip gloss and mascarra. I think lipstick looks bad.
Lipgloss shows your natrual color through and it looks pretty, but not fake. Mascarra will keep your eyelashes healthy.

Is it illegal to sell alcohol to friends in your house, to make up the cost, without a license?
If so, is there a state where this IS legal? Is it illegal to sell alcohol to friends in your house, to make up the cost, without a license?
First off, make sure you and your friends are of legal age.
Secondly, I would think a sensible way around that would be to charge them for the CUP...and not the beer. I have been to party's where they charge you for the plastic (cheapo) dixie cup. Like $5 or so. That way you can not be in trouble for selling ';alcohol';. All you did was sell cups and the alcohol was what they chose to put in it. Just be sure to mention in any literature/flier you send to your friends or when they walk in that they are paying for CUPS!Is it illegal to sell alcohol to friends in your house, to make up the cost, without a license?
yes, you need a license to sell alcohol to anyone, even friends. You do not need a license to be reimbursed by your friends for the money you loaned them though. I recall you loaning each of your friends that came to your house about the same amount of money as what the alcohol cost, don't you?
It is illegal to re sell alcohol without a permit or license.
You can not run a store or bar out of your home even for your friends.

How can i do my eye make up to make my eyes stand out more?
i have medium brown skin, not to dark, not to light either, and i have small eyes to so i wanted to know if anyone knew any kind of eye make up i could do to my eyes, and how so they can stand out more. I know for the whole dramatic look i should use dark eyeshadow and everything but since my skin is pretty dark u cant really tell theres dark eye shadow on so if you could please help. i just want my eyes to appear bigger and stand out more. How can i do my eye make up to make my eyes stand out more?
I think when you are having trouble with makeup it is always good to talk to someone who works for a makeup company, like Mary Kay. Those girls are always willing to give you makeovers and help you find colors that work for you. Even if you don't want to buy their products because they're too pricey or something, you can still ask them for a makeover so that you can see what works for you and what doesn't.
Oh but one thing I have noticed on all women is a light shimmery color shadow along the eyebrow really makes it stand out and adds drama to the eyes. How can i do my eye make up to make my eyes stand out more?
If you have dark skin, you can beautifully use a light shade of eyeshadow such as a light green or a soft purple instead of using a dark shadow
Don't wear eyeliner and if you are put it at the corner of your eyes because it will stand out better, apply lots of mascara to your lashes.
%26amp; Don't use dark eyeshadows because it will make you look like you have bedee eyes. If your gonna use eye makup use like light purples and blues and pink but light pinks it will go well with your skin color as well.
hope that helps! %26lt;33
Just try light brown then put a blue/turquoise on top, put it on ur eyelid %26amp; that really is dramatic!

the less makeup on a redhead the better, look at some of bryce dallas howards pics and go from there, im not a makeup expert being a guy and all
lilac and purple eyeshadow would go with your eye color and probably your skin tone
also light green or pale aqua would look good
hope this helps
i have several redheaded friends and they all just wear mascara and and peach tones for blush. my one friend likes to wear red for lip stick too. i think the key is to get your skin to look nice and creamy.
Green eyeshadow looks really good on rea-heads. So does red lipstick----Looks elegant

I am a redhead so i know how it is. well first you want a eyeshadow color that matches your eyes and your skin color. Well i am fair skinned so i use like a lavender and light purple eyeshadow. and for eyeliner i use blue eyeliner. and not the pencil tip. the 1 that cums out of a tube. they are called glimmersticks or the blackest black color. for eyeliner u want to get the darkest blue. close to black but not black. and i use black mascara. and i dont look good with anything else on exept lip gloss. i dont use lip stick.
Can anyone give me an idea of how much a full professional make-up kit would cost?
I'm considering doing a professional make-up course in Dublin, Ireland and just need a rough idea how much i could be expecting to pay for a full kit with primaraly say MAC products? Can anyone give me an idea of how much a full professional make-up kit would cost?
it depends what you mean by a full make-up kit. just the brushes will set you back a good few hundred. i would say around 拢300 if you want mainly mac brushes. you will need:
BLUSH BRUSH:
never use the brush that comes in the blush compacts. those tiny little brushes won't do anything but leave stripes of colour across the face, which is never a good look. look for a blush brush that is round in shape and wide enough to cover the apple of your cheek, where you want to deposit the colour.
EYELINER BRUSH:
an eyeliner brush should be thin and flat. i would suggest two different kinds: a thin, pointed brush which allows you to draw a thin line, and a brush that's more straight across allows for a thicker line and also helps in creating a smokey look.
EYE SHADDOW BRUSH:
shadow brushes should be soft and full. i also suggest that you get rid of those skimpy little sponge applicators that come in shadow compacts. there are three basic shadow brushes: a smaller one that can be used to cover smaller spaces like the lid, a larger one that could be used to apply a ';wash of colour'; across the entire eye area and could also be used to blend color softly, and a crease brush which is used to apply a darker contour of color in the crease of the eyelid.
EYEBROW BRUSH:
eyebrow brushes aren't really necessary, but it's nice to have them if you want a full kit. as we age, it helps to define and darken the brows - it really wakes up your face. an eyebrow brush's bristles should be slanted, hard, and a little scratchy. you use the eyebrow brush to apply a powder shadow to your brows.
POWDER BRUSH:
the powder brush should be the biggest, fluffiest brush in your kit. Such a brush should be able to distribute the powder quite well, without making it look caked on.
LIP BRUSH:
lip brushes are good to have if you want to define your lips or be very precise with your lip colour.
CONCEALER BRUSH:
it's always fine to apply concealer using a fingertip, but applying with a brush designed for this purpose makes it easier to get the concealer exactly where you want it to go.
EYEBROW BRUSH/EYELASH COMB:
these tools are usually combined into a double-sided brush. use the brow brush to smoothe the brows into place. use the eyelash comb to comb out any clumps you got from applying mascara.
mac brushes are generally the best but quite expensive. if you can afford the whole set then definately go for it. ms makeup ones are also good but nothing really comes close to mac.
hope this helps
xCan anyone give me an idea of how much a full professional make-up kit would cost?
Well, depends all what your going to wear.
But i would say prob. like, 200 or somthing.
A good few hundreds.. x
I'd say you would find one for around 500 usd..

What is the cheapest make up brand and how much should I wear?
Im 13What is the cheapest make up brand and how much should I wear?
Keep in mind that the more make-up you wear, the more you are going to clog your pores and cause acne. Especially cheap foundations and powders.
At thirteen, I think this would be a good regimen and some good product for that.
First off, get a cleanser, one from Neutrogena would be all right.
Make-up wise, you should go eye make-up for color, mascara for going out or getting dressed up.. Loose powder if you have oily skin to help with shine.. And some colored lip gloss.
Eye make-up, can't go wrong with Covergirl. It stays well and they have all the new nifty hot colors. They'd be a good choice for powder, too.
You can get pretty much any brand of lip gloss, but if you go into an Ulta or Sephora and buy their store brand, the color will last much longer than a regular store brand, and it may cost you up to ten bucks. But it will last you for at least three months with steady use.
Make sure to wash wash wash your face at night! Trust me, I was thirteen not that long ago and puberty plus make-up makes for acne if you're not good about your hygiene.
Hope this helps! What is the cheapest make up brand and how much should I wear?
You definitely should not be getting cheap make-up. Its really bad for you. But if you have too then the dollar store. ? or just go to walmart and find the cheap things. But you should spend your money on better things, as it wont do as much damage and not give as many wrinkles when your older, and lasts longer. And at your ago, don't wear too much, I don't know exactly what you want makeup for, but just wear a little bit of mascara or something, definitely don't need a lot. :)
hunni do u really need it i mean im 16 im in a coed public school and the guys here avoid the young one waring makeup unless its natural just a tip lolz but keep it in mind. natural Beauty is what matters to guys.
Dollar store makeup or Bon-Bons is the cheapest but I don't recommend it (though a few products are pretty good). Get a normal drugstore brand which is still affordable, like Rimmel ^_^
Don't wear any.
Don't waste your money. Concentrate on school instead.
nyc makeup you can buy eyeliner lipstick and eyeshadow for like 4 bucks

What is the best make up for wearing in very hot climates? Im getting married in Cyprus on 1st August and?
doing it myself so i dont want it to melt off as soon as the ceremoney finishes! What is the best make up for wearing in very hot climates? Im getting married in Cyprus on 1st August and?
Wow you're brave, will be extremely hot that time of year! I would suggest a clean base, no fountation, waterproof mascara, and maybe some kind of liquid shimmer like benefit highbeam for cheek-bones. Something fresh cos it will be 45 degrees C.What is the best make up for wearing in very hot climates? Im getting married in Cyprus on 1st August and?
Congratulations on your wedding!
MAC and Makeup forever have this transparent gel like substance to apply as a foundation base. This is especially made for oil skins and hot climates. I unfortunately cannot remember the name! But do ask them. Once u apply it, ur skin feel like velvet. Its really good.
Also, Make up forever has this new High Definition Make up. And they have a product called Photofinish. Makes ur face gorgeous in the photos. Check it out.
Good luck!
I recommend a light full coverage pressed powder. Go about your normal makeup regime with eyes/cheeks/lips but go light on foundations. I've done makeup for many summer weddings and the bride allllways wants foundation. No one wants to look blotchy in bridal photos. Just keep a hanky to dab if you perspire under the makeup. Dabbing and not wiping will leave the powder on if it's a good one. :) Happy hunting.
A must have for you is mark.'s MIST OPPORTUNITY ($8). It is a multi-tasking refresher that works perfect to set your makeup and revitalize your skin throughout the day.
Start with mark.'s Face Xpert Flawless Touch foundation ($8). Spritz on Mist Opportunity and your makeup should stay put throughout the day.
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

Buy some primer, apply this before you apply foundation to give the make-up a better hold.
Probably very little. Light powder stuff.

What's the best make up to use if I want a very matte look and do you have tips?
I want a matte look. What is the best brand of make up to use. I don't want anything too expensive. I'm looking for some of the brands like Maybelline, Revlon, Max Factor, etc. that you can find at any store like WalMart.
Also- do you have any tips on how I should go about ';getting'; the look.
Thank you for your help. What's the best make up to use if I want a very matte look and do you have tips?
If you want a matte look, generally you want to stay away from liquid foundations (which will make you look more dewey) and use powders. However, it really all depends on the kind of matte look you want!
If you want the more understated matte look that's in magazines today, go with a pressed powder. One of my favorites is j.a.n.e. cosmetic's pressed powder (it's about $4). The only problem is that they don't have
much of a range in shades; if you have a skintone that's harder to match you should try Maybelline's Mineral Wear Foundation. It's a little more expensive but it's definitely worth it to have a foundation that matches your skin tone!
If you're going for a more classic, cake-y, 50s matte look, then you'll want to get some cake makeup. Maxfactor has a great cake makeup that's pretty inexpensive. With this, wet a sponge and use it to apply the cake makeup. This is really good if you want tons of coverage, but make sure to blend it out with a powder brush or you'll look plastic!
To get a matte look with your eyes, use a pencil-liner (liquid and gel liners are too shiny for a matte look). Then, with whatever shadow colors you want (I suggest using shades of purple; they look great on everyone!), make sure that none of the shadows have shimmer in them or you won't have a matte texture.
To get a matte look with your lips, you want to stay away from anything shiny and use a flat colored lipstick. I'd suggest a neutral shade. N.Y.C. has a great variety of shades and their lipstick is 99 cents!
If you have any other questions you can just ask! I love makeup so I'm happy to help where I can... :)What's the best make up to use if I want a very matte look and do you have tips?
matte skin-
maybelline's dream matte mouse, powerder, and bronzer.
very dramatic matte eyes-
anything covergirl on the eyes. use alot of mascara, or fake lashes. black or grey smokey liner. any eyeshadow by covergirl just use your fingers to apply alot.
lips-
red lips? if you want natrual will also work. revlon is usually where i like to get my lip sticks from because they specialize in that.
have fun!
Use MAC it's the best for your skin and it's worth paying a bit of extra money for something your putting on your face. MAC foundations range from about $18 - 50 and are perfect for what you want. To get a really matt look use a damp make up brush or sponge to apply your makeup and use powder to finish!!
maybelline's dream matte powder. it is AMAZING!!!

Best make up foundations? What do all the make up artists use?
Hi im a make up artist wanting to try out a new brand i am currently using Napoleons which i dont mind however wanting something new. If theres any make up artists what do you use? Also is anyone aware of a decent eyeliner that does not move and is long lasting?Best make up foundations? What do all the make up artists use?
i really like benefit make up
the play stick for cover up is amazing
i also like bare minerals
especially for clients with skin problems
=]Best make up foundations? What do all the make up artists use?
I'd say MAC studio fix fluid. It comes in a variety of skin colors and is very professional. I know lot's of makeup artists use it, and i personally like it myself. I've also heard MUFE HD foundation works well too. There are lot's out there, ya just gotta try 'em all. I would say find a few foundations for different types of skin tones. Maybe a full coverage, a tinted moisturizer, a powder, a mineral foundation and a foundation stick. As for the eyeliner, definitely check out the Urban Decay 24/7 liners, they come in a huge variety of colors and last all day. Good luck and I hope i helped :-)
i use mac bc the coverage is good and they offer a lot of shades. u kno us makeup artist get 40% off from mac

You don't want to open each and every bottle on the shelf so put the clear bottle and put it next to your wrist. You should be able to narrow it down to a few bottles. You can always try spreading a dime size dot on your wrist. Try to get a color closest to the skin color on your wrist. If you are still having trouble then ask for assistance from a make up counter. Have you tried asking a friend along? As far as make-up tips
try looking at magazines that are for your age group. Just to get some ideas and try it out. Good luck!
I would go to an actual makeup counter. They'll be able to help you find the colors that suit you. Since they're professionals they have a better idea of what shades are right for your skin tone. So, you can go in and try different shades out until you find the ones you like. You can also ask them for some helpful tips.
My suggestion...I think since you're 14 you should stick to a natural look until you get a little older. You don't have to get bright, out there colors to look great in makeup. Also, don't cake on makeup. It's very unattractive for all ages.
Tet it on ur wrist

Where can I go the morning of my wedding to have my make-up done at a low cost?
I'm getting married in June 2009, and already I am stressing about looking my best for my special day. I'd like to have my make-up done professionally, but really can't afford to go some place costly being that my fiancee and I are paying for our wedding and are on a pretty tight budget and really don't have the extra money to spend. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!Where can I go the morning of my wedding to have my make-up done at a low cost?
Just go to one of the makeup counters at a department store such as Clinique, Lancome, Este Lauder, etc. Tell them you are interested in a makeover for your wedding. Technically, it is free, although they usually expect you to buy something since they took their time on you. If you just buy the lipstick, it will run you about $25, but then you can keep using it to touch up your lips throughout your big day. My advice is to call and make an appointment with them because you never know if there will be a crowd or not. Good luck!Where can I go the morning of my wedding to have my make-up done at a low cost?
Mall department store makeup counter.
Try telling people what town you live in so they can help
Just go to a makeup stand. I've used Clinique and MAC. The price is about 45$ but you get 45$ in store credit (you can get your bridesmaids gifts with the credit!).
Salons tend to have higher prices. Just don't say wedding - you'll probably get a higher price quote.
Alternatively, you could start experimenting with your own makeup - take photos and see how they work. Keep tweaking it - you'll have 3 months to perfect your look.
Have a Mary Kay lady come to you for free. If you have a skin care class you could get free makeup to keep.
Beauty colleges.
It's cheap and even though it sounds scary...'cause they're students...usually the ones with the most experience and soon to graduate are the ones doing they work.
They're up to date with whatever is in fashion, they're extremely cheap, if you don't like the job- its free or re-done, and they do hair and nails too.
those make up places at the mall where u get samples lol
Call into Clinique, M.A.C, or Sephora a few days (or a week, to make sure) to see if you can come in and get you're make-up done. (sometimes it's even free!) Some companies won't charge you for it, but instead they say that you need to buy two of their products, or something.
Its usually inexpensive, tell them what occasion it is, and they'll do a great job. It will be under 30 dollars, most likey if you have to pay anything at all.
I would go to one of those places at the mall like Mac or Clinque and ask them to do your makeup. Sometimes they even do it for free! =p
This is the most important day of your life and you have to look perfect. You don't need a pro to do it because you may not even like it and what to do about touch ups???
I highly suggest you look into the bee luscious cosmetics timeless bride collection easy and elegantly classic as well as long lasting for beautiful timeless pics and you won't need to be touching up.
Get:

retexturizing primer under the liquid minerals foundation and your done.
Ask for samples of the foundation for color match the help you a lot and you have a gorgeous look that is all yours and you can always re live it with the makeup its truly timeless and money much more well spent.
Do you have any friends who are good at it that can do it for you? You can do some trials ahead of time to make sure you will like it. My mom did mine, and she sells Mary Kay. Do you know anyone who sells Mary Kay or Avon?
Department store make-up counter. They do make-up for free, because they'll want to sell you the products. But you are not under any obligation to buy, so it's free!
Check out your local Beauty College (Cosmetology School) to see if they would be open (early enough) the day of your wedding (a student may also be willing to do it on her own time).
I suggest goint to MAC cosmetics!
They take walk-in appointments and its not too expensive.

How to do a make-up of a dead man?
I have a play soon and I'm the make-up artist. But I can't seem to do a make-up of a dead man,I know that the complexion should be very pale and a little bit blue but the problem are the eyes.I don't know how and what to do with them. But this is not a zombie,it's not something like halloween it's a play where few ppl lye in a coffin. How to do a make-up of a dead man?
Most people when in a coffin have their eye's closed but if you decide to leave the eyes open -the eyes themself should have a haze look to them, and I would put a slight shadowing under them but just a touch. How to do a make-up of a dead man?
maybe put some light grey/black around the eyes.

What is the best type of make up to cover up dark circles under eyes?
please give brand, product and price if you can! thanks! What is the best type of make up to cover up dark circles under eyes?
Clinique airbrush concealer ($17.50 US) works great because it illuminates under the eye. The dark circles will disappear if they are reflecting light instead of absorbing it. It's pretty sheer (which I like because thick cakey makeup only makes problem areas look worse) so if they are quite dark you may need to pat it on, set it with powder, and pat on a second layer and top it with more powder. When applying concealer, especially under the eye, make sure to lightly pat it on to the skin with your ring finger rather than rubbing it on. Rubbing can result in you taking off most of the product, and tugging on the skin leads to wrinkly, droopy eyes later in life! What is the best type of make up to cover up dark circles under eyes?
Ulta has an awesome brand called Studio Gear. The concealer is like a pen and goes on precisely where you want it. Its the only one I will use. URL: listed below.
Well, wut I do is take concealer and put it under your eyes. Then, take foundation and put it over top of the concealer. Then, You take powder and put it over top of everything. It looks pretty good, if you match your skin tone right.
Any salmon colored concealer works wonders. But if you don't have one, put an orange-ish or reddish lip gloss or creme anything under. Then put on concealer. The red cancels out the blue and you cant even tell you have any dark circles.
NEUTROGENA UNDER EYE CONCEALER! You can get it at Walmart or Target. It is around 8 dollars but I am telling you it is TOTALLY WORTH IT! I HAVE IT AND TRUST ME I HAVE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EYE CIRCLES AND THIS STUFF WORKS! i HIGHLY recommend it!
Get a cover up that is lighter than your skin. Just dab it under your eyes. Pat it on and it will cover up the circles. It comes in a tube like lipstick.
Green concealer by Maybelline followed by a neutral concealer that matches you skin tone also by Maybelline. After applying those apply a pressed powder over top.
maybeline concealer, it looks like lipstick but its not.
im not sure exactly how much, but it should be no more than $7

What can I do with my make-up to make my eyes really stand out???
Ok i am only in Middle School so what can i do to make my eyes make an impression. First of i have green eyes so what can i do??What can I do with my make-up to make my eyes really stand out???
i have green eyes as well./
what you can do is die your haair blonder and then put lots of maccara and eyeliner.
it really makes them pop!!What can I do with my make-up to make my eyes really stand out???
Best thing if you want to STAY gorgeous is....
don't use make-up at all. Every time you put it on it is a skin irritant.
It clogs pores so your skin cannot breathe, and it gets you closer to developing a perfume allergy (lots of perfume in makeup).
If you have a dance or something once in awhile....
Try some mascara and lip gloss. That's all you need.
Spare your face! The natural look makes for a natural friend.
People don't trust make-up phonies!
Enjoy yourself --- don't waste time and $$ on makeup.

Can a physical therapist make up o 100,000 in one year?
After finishing up high school, I decided to go to school to become a physical therapist. Does a physical therapist make more than a nurse? Can a physical therapist make up to 100,000 in one year? If so what is the highest degree one can earn in becoming a physical therapist? Can a physical therapist make up o 100,000 in one year?
The pay between PTs and RNs is often very comparable. However, it also depends on what setting and shift to which you are referring.
The ';average'; PT earns about $66,000 a year. There are about 15% of the PTs earn more than $100,000, but they are often in management, or own clinics. The entry level degree for a PT is now either a master's or doctorate (DPT) degree. However, you can also get advanced masters (MSc) or doctorate degrees (PhD) in related fields.myspace text

What is the best make up tools and things for an amateur?
I am an amateur, I need your help, I don't know what things I have to start to make up?What is the best make up tools and things for an amateur?
Well. I would recommend:
FOUNDATION
BLUSH
LIPGLOSS/ LIPSTICK
EYELINER
EYESHADOW
MASCARA
BROW LINER
MOISTERIZER
SOFTLIPS (use b4 the lipstick to reduce feathering and damage)
..........................
tools:
BLUSH BRUSH
EYELASH CURLER
BLENDING BRUSH
APPLICATOR BRUSHWhat is the best make up tools and things for an amateur?
Make up for a first timer? Like, someone that 'never' wears make up thats starting to? I normally just experimented with make up that I liked or the colors that looked good to me. But I was young and I didn't know pink gel shadow, and glitter make up looked gross on me. lol
Well for someone thats starting out its kinda hard to get into it. Your basics of just starting would be eye liner, mascara, eye shadow, lipstick or lip gloss, and blush maybe.
Gradually get into it by wearing tinted lip gloss, and light colored eye shadows.. And if you want to you can try using eye liner. But eye liner is pretty tricky to apply, and so is mascara.
If you don't know how to apply it ask someone that knows how, maybe your friends or your mom. Make up is a good tool to use to hide imperfections such as dark under eye circles, pimples and scars if your good at applying.
I'm 21 and I normally use a concealer for my under eye circles, foundation to cover marks or to even out my skin, face powder in my skintone to set my foundation, black eye liner, blush and mascara. I don't normally wear eye shadow, but sometimes I do. I normally wear this kinda stuff when I go to work since I'm a hair dresser. You don't always need to wear foundation, thats if you must cover something like blue veines or red marks, or any other imperfections.

Do you think that most dermatologists make-up problem about your skin to make more money?
I used to have perfect skin and my derm still found all of these problems with my skin and then she prescribed me medication that made my skin dry and flaky.Do you think that most dermatologists make-up problem about your skin to make more money?
Go to another derm or primary care physician and get a second opinion. Third opinions do not hurt either.
You could be suck with a bad doc. That would be malpractice.
Or, they could be prescribing something that is helping you but that is one side effect.
I'd recommend a second opinion to be sure!Do you think that most dermatologists make-up problem about your skin to make more money?
Yes ur right. most people are only after ur money and really don't care, especially expensive professionals. I am sorry to hear that this has happened to u. i reccomend u talk to that dermotologist ASAP!!!!
As a dermatologist, I must tell you that you'll just have to take my word for it that we are sooo busy that we really don't have time for such nonsense as you are suggesting.
No i thought i had probs with my skin and my derm said i had perfect skin and wouldnt give me anything for it.
doctors do not make up things from your body to make money, thats a terible thing to say about people who are trained to help you when you need help!!
no, they can't do that, they would defidently be in some big trouble!

When I put on make up my skin gets oily. How can I prevent this?
I also use acne wash and after that i use my shine control moisture then apply my mac. I don't wear alot of it, just enough to hide blackheads. but my acne isnt severe so why does my skin get oily like 2 hours after i put on my make up? thanks! When I put on make up my skin gets oily. How can I prevent this?
You should try a different foundation/powder.I hate MAC.When I put on make up my skin gets oily. How can I prevent this?
Experiment with different types of foundations. I like LOREAL.
you need a good powder foundation like sheer cover as liquid foundations will make your skin even more oily
good luck!
If you are going to use a liquid foundation make sure it isn't oil based or see if it's oil free. Also, check your moisturizer. It may be a shine control but I could still be oil based. I actually don't put a moisturizer on my face because my skin get oily quicker. I use a good concealer to hide those blackheads and dark circles under my eyes. Try Bobbi Brown concealer it's a little expensive but if you use it right it last for a while. After I've put my concealer on those problem areas, I use a powder foundation. I hope this helps!
Sometimes when we think our skin is oily, it's really dry. Does your face feel tight after cleansing? We tend to overdo the shine control to the point where our skin will compensate by producing more oil. Switch to a different moisturizer, one that will benefit all skin types (like Clinque) or try a moisturizer for dry/normal skin for a week and see if this helps.
Try letting the moisturizer set at least 10 minutes before applying any foundation.
wash your face and make sure its clean BEFORE you do put your base/make up. then after you use a liquid base brush a loose powder over it and it should stay somewhat longer, other than that there isn't really anything you can do other than whenever you notice your face getting oily to brush more powder over it.
The powder you are using must be oily. Look for make up that promotes non-greasy or oily touches. Like a mineral based powder, maybeline and neutrogena has some good ones.
Try some oil blotting sheets they get all the oil off of your face without ruining your makeup and that way your not putting on extra powder or makeup which starts to look cakey when your face gets oily.E.L.F makes some and their only a dollar or clean and clear makes some those are around five dollars

What are some of your oppinions on Truth-In-Sentencing laws? I want others opinions before I make up my own.?
Im actualy a student in a intro to corrections class and a question of truth-in-sentencing laws came up, and it's a lil vauge in the book, and im not getting much help through the internet either. Any oppinions or links or anyother info is greatly appreciated!!!What are some of your oppinions on Truth-In-Sentencing laws? I want others opinions before I make up my own.?
Truth in sentencing refers to the manner in which ';good time'; relates to parole eligibility in the case of felonies and release dates in the case of misdemeanors. In most jails, there is a system in place in which an offender can stand to do only one half to one third of his sentence, and most states have ';good time'; systems in place in prisons that can result in a person only doing a third to one half of his actual sentence.
Over the past decade or so, a number of victims rights groups have opposed these systems on the presumption that they are dishonest and that if juries understood how little time an inmate might do, then they might be inclined to raise their recommended sentences. Their position also implies that a sentence that may be imposed by a judge amounts to a fraud on the public, which is only told about the sentence rather than the real amount of time the offender may serve. The truth in sentencing movement amounts to an attempt to abolish parole and to force the prison system to keep their inmates incarcerated for the entire duration of their sentences.
My opinion is thus: it's unrealistic.
In order to accomplish it, state legislatures would have to build a whole bunch of new prisons, house inmates in county jails or other alternative facilities, or they would have to completely revamp most of the sentencing ranges provided for in their penal codes. For different reasons, neither option is politically viable. The first option is just too expensive. Too, the good time systems exist because of prison over crowding and because without the hope of parole, there is precious little incentive for an inmate to behave. So unless we want more prisons, more inmates, and less safety and control in those prisons, abolishing parole is a rotten idea. Our parole system at present is to a great extent the result of federal interference in state prison operations anyway. The federal courts were responding to exactly the sort of over crowding in prisons that would necessarily result from the abolition of parole. In other words, it was the feds who created the revolving door in state prison systems in the first place, and there is no reason to believe that federal courts would behave any differently today.
Rewriting the sentencing scheme in the various penal codes across the nation is also unrealistic because this would necessarily result in lower sentences for most crimes. Where some nonviolent crimes are concerned, especially drug crimes, I personally think I'd support it, but the average voter and crime victim doesn't usually understand the nature of the problem. So, proposing sentencing reductions like that would probably be a non-starter in a political sense in most states. In fact, the current political atmosphere tends to favor even harsher sentences.
Wisconsin adopted a very strict truth in sentencing scheme back in the late 90's and it is proving to be a disaster. This system requires an inmate to do 100% of his original sentence and apparently it was put in place without a revamping of the sentencing standards that already existed in the state penal code. It has resulted in a system that is brutally unfair and extravagantly expensive, and which removes all incentive from the inmates. It thereby greatly increased prison misbehavior and inmate despondency. Privately, some sources in the prison system itself have stated that the new scheme has created a crisis in the Wisconsin prison system and will likely cost the taxpayers an additional 1.8 billion dollars for inmates admitted through 2025. The feds are picking up part of this tab now, which means that the taxpayers are paying for it in both state AND federal taxes.
For these two primary reasons, I think that Truth in Sentencing is a political and legal concept that is DOA.myspace text

Best Way To Wear Make Up Without Getting Caught?
Nobody is allowed to wear make up at school, but I only want to wear, not really that noticable foundation that is medicated. Do you think I could get away with it?Best Way To Wear Make Up Without Getting Caught?
well, you could probably wear makeup, but remember to make it look natural, and not use too much. yeah, i think you could get away with a medicated foundation. (:Best Way To Wear Make Up Without Getting Caught?
medicated foundation tends to be liquid which is heavier than other types of foundation. if i was you i would make sure you are using the correct cleanser toner and moisturiser (yes even greasy pimpled skin needs it!) for your skin type. this will help clear the pores. although medicated foundtion will help ease the spots it can also clog pores if its not removed properly which could result in more spots.
try something like a mineral foundation which is light weight and looks natural but they are not medicated.
you can also get medicated sticks which have witch hazel in them or tea tree these will help dry the spots and mean you can wear a different type of foundation.
try a naturall look i do i never get caught and if you put a bit more on about onece a month they don't notice they think that this is naturally you i get away with it at my school and they are dead strick with their rools try a tiny bit of foundation or bronzing pearls over spots and to amplify bone structure then one or two flicks of mascara for the length and no clumps then no eye shaddow this is too obvious and vasaline for a glossy look and they can't tell you off for it just say i have sore lips :D works a treat !!
Please check out Physician's Formula Organic Tinted Moisturizer ~~ its a very light weight tinted moisturizer that moisturizes your skin %26amp; evens out your skin tone with a sheer natural coverage. Plus there arent harmful ingredients in it.
Dont use blush ~~ the color will stand out too much IMO.
Just add lip balm, no color added, it will moisturize your lips %26amp; only you will know you have it on.
P.S. Or apply Oil of Olay Complete Touch of Sun with spf to your face %26amp; neck. I use it %26amp; love it ~~ this slowly adds color to your face %26amp; doesnt look dark %26amp; streaky.
Technically its not makeup %26amp; only adds a bit of color to your face.
Wash your hands after you apply %26amp; then apply lip balm with no color.
yeah you do want to look better i wear makeup and i dont get caught anyway just do the natural look dont put lipgloss on put vaseline thats it or something which makes your lips shiny and put a little eyeliner(thats the same colour as your eyelashes colour but put it on the top one small line)and put a bronzer and loose powder or even foundation that matches your skin tone!
hope i helped!!
Don`t!
When I was at scool (OK, a long time ago), no one was allowed to wear make up or jewelery (apart from a chain with a crucifix if need be;it was a Roman catholic school).
Allow your skin to breathe, without clogging your pores up with make up. You`ve got plenty of make up waring days to come!
Get the shade that matches your skin the best and only apply a thin layer. Or you can use concealer sticks or spot treatments for the areas you are trying to cover. If you wear the shade that is close to your skin color and don't overdo it you should be fine
try mineral foundation i use l'oreal bare naturale with a blotting pressed powder like hot mama from the balm
also curl your eyelashes and put on a moisturizing lip balm like mac lip conditioner spf 15. also make sure to wear sunscreen everyday so that way your skin wont be bad when your old and wrinkled
If you are self conscious of your skin and you need to wear a light foundation you should be able to. Just wear as little as possible and explain that to any teachers that say anything.
never really heard of a school banning makeup??
but i dont think they will notice unless they go up to u and realllllllly do some experimenting or something.
if u want to cover small flaws...foundation does it..and i dont think they will take the time out of their precious lives to rub off ur foundation just to make a point. i think they mean no visible makeup like lipgloss,lipstick,eyeshadow...things like that

Trust me, even if you only wear a little makeup, people with a sharp eye can tell. Is it really worth it to risk being suspended or expelled from school? No.
yeah i think you would if you only wear a small amount like one thin layer and make sure you dont get too much of a coulour difference, try get it to match your skin tone 90+%
good luck:)
Yeah if you wear natural-looking makeup.
no i dont think you could get away with it. dont even try it.
tinted moisturizer... and clear mascara
Yeah , i do. :]
well, you could probably wear makeup, but remember to make it look natural, and not use too much. yeah, i think you could get away with a medicated foundation.

Why do Americans idolize body shapes that only make up a small portion of their population?
Women- supposed to be 5'8 or taller, 120 pounds max
Men- like the warriors in the recent movie 300............minus the beards and long hair
Yet this is not a reflection of the average American from my personal experience, am I wrong? Why do Americans idolize body shapes that only make up a small portion of their population?
No you aren't wrong.
But why do people like prime rib over chuck roast?
Mercedes over KIA? A mansion over a mobile home?
It is in our nature to evaluate things, judge them and rank them bad, ok, good, better, best. Of course most people want the best things for themselves. What is hard to understand? Why do Americans idolize body shapes that only make up a small portion of their population?
I like to watch girls in bikini's while sitting on my couch drinking beer and eating pizza, im sorry what was the question again.
