On special occasions my mom puts on make-up, but it looks really bad. How do I tell her without hurting her?

Maybe some time just for fun, you can ask to do her makeup for her. Put it on in a way that is simple and natural looking. Then compliment the crap out of her and tell her how the new color lipstick makes her lips look fuller, how her eyes look more open without the mascara on the bottom lashes, etc. Maybe being casual with your suggestions will not make her feel criticized and she may use your ideas the next time she dolls up!On special occasions my mom puts on make-up, but it looks really bad. Well i think the best way next time try to suggest her to try different look apart from the one she used to and help her to pick colours that fits her
just be like mom let me do ur makeup plz.....

Definitly tell her the look now is to go all natural. This way you dont hurt her because you are not targeting her. You can start by saying that you saw it on a show and you should maybe both try makeup together. Offer her a makeover day. It will give the 2 of you a chance to spend some quality time together.
Tell her that she doesn't need makeup to be pretty, it will make her feel good about herself. Also, next time, ask her if you can do her makeup.
Give her a caertificate for a professional make-up at some salon near where you live. She will learn how to do her make up like the expert teaches her and she won't get offended because it always feels good to be taken care of for a day!
Aw, I would just suggest other kinds of makeup that looks fresh like lipgloss or something, BUY it for her as a gift and act offeneded if she doesnt wear it hehe

tell her it would be fun if you did her make up, and give her some tips while your doing it!!! then she will see how good it looks when you did it,and she might take your advice! hope i helped!!
Take her to the makeup counter at your local department store and let the associates give her tips and apply her makeup for her. In the meantime, just let her wear what she wants to wear on her face.
ok, all that you need to do, is when she is about to put on her make-up , just ask if you can do it for her, dont put on as much, and make sure that see can see, that not putting as much on looks nice too, you could say :


';you should wear it like this more often';


';it looks really nice like this';


she will not think you are insulting her by saying that.


You could buy her a different shade of lipstick and then tell her that you think she should continue using that shade as it really suits her. She will thank you for it, Trust me x !
