doing it myself so i dont want it to melt off as soon as the ceremoney finishes! What is the best make up for wearing in very hot climates? Im getting married in Cyprus on 1st August and?
Wow you're brave, will be extremely hot that time of year! I would suggest a clean base, no fountation, waterproof mascara, and maybe some kind of liquid shimmer like benefit highbeam for cheek-bones. Something fresh cos it will be 45 degrees C.What is the best make up for wearing in very hot climates? Im getting married in Cyprus on 1st August and?
Congratulations on your wedding!
MAC and Makeup forever have this transparent gel like substance to apply as a foundation base. This is especially made for oil skins and hot climates. I unfortunately cannot remember the name! But do ask them. Once u apply it, ur skin feel like velvet. Its really good.
Also, Make up forever has this new High Definition Make up. And they have a product called Photofinish. Makes ur face gorgeous in the photos. Check it out.
Good luck!
I recommend a light full coverage pressed powder. Go about your normal makeup regime with eyes/cheeks/lips but go light on foundations. I've done makeup for many summer weddings and the bride allllways wants foundation. No one wants to look blotchy in bridal photos. Just keep a hanky to dab if you perspire under the makeup. Dabbing and not wiping will leave the powder on if it's a good one. :) Happy hunting.
A must have for you is mark.'s MIST OPPORTUNITY ($8). It is a multi-tasking refresher that works perfect to set your makeup and revitalize your skin throughout the day.
Start with mark.'s Face Xpert Flawless Touch foundation ($8). Spritz on Mist Opportunity and your makeup should stay put throughout the day.
Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!
Wow, that's funny you asked because Allure magazine's How To for this month is called ';Meltproof Makeup.'; Here's the link for the video: http://www.allure.com/howtos/video/2008/鈥?/a>
Hope this helps, and good luck on your wedding!
Buy some primer, apply this before you apply foundation to give the make-up a better hold.
Probably very little. Light powder stuff.
