What science fair projects include make up?

the science fair is coming up at my school, and i need a good 8th grade science fair project idea! i want something interesting and original. i was thinking i can do something about make up or other beauty products! any ideas??





and..i wasn't sure what category i should've put this question in..so even if this more about school than make up, try answering my question anyways please! (i'm probably going to end up posting the same question again in the category of homework help or something later on anyways too.)

I was actually laying in bed last night thinking of doing something with make up too. I was thinking of researching the ingredients that go into makeup;


I've heard things like bat poop, fish scales, cow oil... other animal parts. It would be really fun to test them out and see what is really in different types of products, so you can know what's going on your face.


I'm in 8th grade too, and my science fair is coming up. I'm online searching for a topic right now!!
You could do ';does waterproof mascara do damage to your eye lashes'; and buy two of the exact same mascara but one in waterproof and one in regular, and use them on the same eye each day for however long, and see if you can find a difference.
you could compare make up brands. like go to a drug store and get something like cover girl then go to a department store and get something like bobbi brown. get ones that say they last long. see which one lasts the longest and is the best.
test which mascaras are the most waterproof by putting it on a cloth and putting it through the wash. i've heard of that before...
you could try something with different strengths of hairsprays..
