What is good make up for a sixth grader?

Brown hair, brown eyes, any suggestions? What is good make up for a sixth grader?
Probably none - unless you are mature looking for your age, then maybe some Bonnie Belle lip gloss. Nothing more. What is good make up for a sixth grader?
Agreed. Lip gloss and for special occasions-ONLY-a tiny bit of brown (glitter) eyeshadow. Report Abuse

none u r 2 yung.
None.

Wait until at least 8th grade...you're still a kid, and when you get older you'll regret trying to grow up so fast...believe me.
You're a little young to be wearing real makeup, but maybe this will be a good beauty routine for you: curl your eyelashes, and a little lip gloss. That's it. You don't want to cover up your gorgeous face!
NONE AT ALL... A GOOD TINTED MOISTURIZER IS THE BEXT THING IF YOU MUST WEAR SOMETHING.

USE A LIGHT LIP GLOSS BECAUSE YOUR NATURAL SHAPE OF YOUR LIP SHOULD STILL BE PERFECT.

AND CLEAR MASCARA....

AT SIXTH GRADE YOU SHOULD BE MORE CONCERNED WITH HAVING FUN THEN MAKE UP APPLICATION.
you're still pretty young, you really don't need makeup. if you want to, i'd say just put on a little eyeliner, lip gloss, and a little bit of eye shadow if you want. don't go too extreme.
None! You don't need it, your skin is naturally beautiful, make up will clog the pores and could cause zits. Why would you want to put that on your face at your age. Believe me it doesn't make you look older, just like a little girl trying to look older.
A light consealer with eye shadow and lip gloss.
A good sunblock, some gloss and a nice perfume.
I don`t think you should honestly. It can really mess up your skin!` But even if you do, wear something light. Don`t go crazy on all the eyeshadow, blush, and cake on all that eyeliner. (: Use a light cream or beige eyeshadow and maybe some mascara. But nothing major. I was the same way, and believe me. I never did it, and I`m thankful!` (:
None is the best, you're not old enough for makeup.
none! and if u dont feel comfortible with out it then try lip gloss, face powder and maybe a bit of mascare but dont go over board
last year (when i was in 6th grade) all i wore for makeup was eyeliner on the bottom lid and for dances i wore some on the top and some mascara..
If they MUST use something, Bonne Bell is a good start

www.bonnebell.com

they make the items such as Bonne Bells Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker's etc., and are for younger people and advertise in magazines such as Sixteen. However, 6th grade is on the young side, so its up to the parents as to what is and isn't appropriate. 'nuff preaching.

Also, Avon has a line for ';younger'; girls and sells them thru their magazines.
lip balm/gloss

mascara

no more than dat. if u do then u look like ur trying 2 hard.
why is a sixth-grader even asking about wearing make-up? at the age of 11 or 12, sixth grade is supposed to be about learning, not about who came to school looking like a cheap girl today (i say this because at such an age, most girls will have no clue about how to put on make-up yet, let alone how much!)
lip balm, lip gloss and sparkly eye glitter....

since ur younger u can get away w/ pretty sparkles and glitter...

lip balm and lip gloss will bring out ur lips and make them look pretty

but that's all u probably don't need it but i kno how it can be fun

2 experiment w/ make-up....
Natural and barely there. Your color selection is based on your skin tones. I used Cover Girl b/c it was most affordable but I've been using natural mineral makeups for a while. It's especially great if you have sensitive skin or if you breakout alot. Minerals don't have the additives that most makeup lines do and it tends to blend better-people can't tell you have makeup, they just think you look really nice.

If you can't get the minerals (rockymountainminerals.com), try neutrogena's line or clinique. Clinique is expensive but worth it and neutrogena is everywhere. It's also gentle and tends to look really natural.
try this site and see how you look and then you decide...

Pick me as best answer!!
well, if it's brown hair and brown eyes, u'd defiantely go with purples and champaignes for eye shadows. i'd say go without blush, bcuz of how young u r... (i'm not saying ur really young, but only 6th grade? hmm.)...and for mascara there's a really good type called Lash Perfection by MaxFactor, i found it at target and now me, my mom, and my sister all use it!! it has little rubber things on it that make the mascara go on really smooth and gives u long thick lashes!oh yeah, and it also comes in colors, and bcuz ur eyecolor, i'd say purple or black, but bcuz of how your age, i'd say black is the best way to go. no eyeliner till high skool in my opinion.... that's just too much make-up!! and i'd reccomend smackers lip-gloss(vanilla is good!) GOOD LUCK!

oh--- yeah: if u need help applying rite another question and i'll tryn get to it!! *mwah*! good luck!
What's wrong with a girl wearing makeup? I wore it at that age. I experimented with all different looks. I was just having fun, like playing dress up. Wear whatever you think looks good on you. Have fun!
Im going to 7th...

and i did it all lol

well at the end of the year i did

but u should use a dark eyeshadow like brown

and some chapstick....

Brunettes and brown eyes girls are very gorgeous..so im sure ur already beautiful, but i understand where ur goin.

here is what NOT to do.

1:base no, if u have acne just wash ur face dailey.

2:No mascara...

3:If u have straight hair it looks good with lipgloss, but with curly use chapstick.

But yes use brown eyeshadow, maybe eyeliner if u like it,and some chapstick and ull look awesome for 6th grade!

Lauren
Gel blush, lipgloss, and mascara.
I am going into six grade and the only make up that i use is lip gloss and mascara
Use minerals like everyday minerals at everydayminerals.com. The company sends samples for free and the products are the purest.
WHAT I WOULD USE IF I WERE THIS PERSON I WOULD GO WITH A LIGHT PEACH OR PINK EYESHADOW OR ANY OTHER COLOR JUST MAYBE PUT LESS ON THAN SOME CUTE PINK LIP GLOSS SOME PINK BLUSH EITHER BLACK WATER PROOF MASCARA OR CLEAR AND THATS ALL
hmm, well i have brown eyes and brown hair too so,

what u should use is a very natural powder foundation, stay away from the darker colors and focus on the more natural shades! and 2nd just a lil mascara, when chosing mascara, u should look at the brush to see what ur lashes will look like, i.e. if the brush bristles are spaced your lashes will be also. then 3rd you should get a light pink shade of lip gloss, you dont need lip stick, im 16 and i dont even wear lipstick, just wear gloss.

if your going to wear eyeliner at all, you should ONLY put it on in the corner of your eyes! your way too young to be puting it on your whole eye, and then last top it all off with a very light brownish eyeshadow, and what i do is mix it witha light cream color for it to be more natural. the brand i use is called Physicians Formula, Matte collection quad eye shadow in Canyon Classics. I hope this will be helpfull to you, please let me know if you need anymore help! and remember LESS IS MORE!!!
chap stick
If you really feel you must use makeup, try using a light pink eyeshadow and maybe a little gloss on your lips. A lot of young girls try to 'cake' on makeup because they think it makes them appear older, it doesn't. It makes you look like you don't know how to 'apply' makeup correctly. Remember, a little bit goes a long way. :)
my sister is in 6th grade and she packs on the black eyeliner and mascara and glitter and ****...i dont really think she needs to....maybe like mascara...or a light eyeshadow....
Cornsilk foundation and Cornsilk loose powder it's the make-up I started out with many years ago. I wouldn't overdo the make-up if your in the 6th grade. You can use colored lipgloss for your lips and Try Mary Kate and Ashley products... light eyemakeup. You want to keep a natural look at your age. I would stay away from ';LIpsticks'; too grown up and can make you look overdone.

Be sure to get applying tips from an older person. They've been through the early stages of make-up and can give good pointers.
