Will my sunscreen still work if i put make-up on?

I'm going away on holiday soon and i need to put a bit of concealer on some parts of my face because i get red patches around the edges of my nose and on the chin, and these tend to get larger and redder whenever i laugh or get hot - which is not a good look for taking photos...

But i'm worried that if i put sunscreen on and then put my make-up on it won't work, or won't work as well and i have sensitive skin that burns easily sometimes.

What should i do?Will my sunscreen still work if i put make-up on?
use make-up with sunscreenWill my sunscreen still work if i put make-up on?
yes u should put on sunscreen everyday just make shure u let it dry well before u put in make up !
i have read that wering foundation is as good as wearing sunscreen on your face , to put it this way, when i went on holiday and wore foundation my face didnt burn but the rest of me did =P=P
I put sunscreen on before I put my make up on. It does work. Let it dry a few minutes before you apply your make up.
Just use a high factor sunscreen and, if you must, blob a bit of brown lip block on your red patches.
yes! You are suppose to do that! lol
Yup
yes it will work as long as you get something designed for face not body. also there are a number of bases and concealers that do have additional sun protection just read the labels - look around you;ll be fine
my daughter says that some cosmetics that you can buy have a built in sun protection factor for the summer try boots the chemist for advice or boots online hope that helps
yes
if you put sunscreen and then concealer it may not look even and you will see lighten patches on your skin. It is better to use light hydrating foundation with spf or just light loose powder with spf. Hope that helps. Anyway, I think it is better not to put any make up except sunscreen , as sun tends to correct all the problems you have, but if you say that it gets even worse when you are in the sun, then this option does not apply to you.
get a foundation with spf in it.....they work well and there's some really good ones out there.
It will work. For extra protection, use a make-up that also has spf. The bad thing about face sunscreen is that you can't reapply when you've got make-up on. So, I'd go for the extra protection by picking up a new make-up.
Taking care of your skin is a very important long-term investment. To protect it from sun and cover zits are both important. It would help to get a moisturizer with spf (if you use moisturizer), and to try to find makeup with spf in it. I have, however, mixed in a dot of sunscreen with my concealer before with very good results. The concealer has to be non-oily and not run.
yeah the sunscreen wont effect your makeup or vice-versa but to make it easier try a foundation with spf in it.
MK, get a good foundation that has sunscreen in it already. There are many brands to choose from and they are great! Not too oily and such! I use Lancome' and it is wonderful.

Have fun and take some good, memorable pics!
Apply sunscreen, wait 10 minutes and then apply your make-up. The sunscreen will work. If you want to be on the safe side, get foundation with SPF. All of MAC's foundations have SPF 15 in them as does the Bare Minerals foundation. You're looking at about $25 per bottle/jar which last a long time.
Go ahead and put sunscreen on, but buy the spray on sunscreen because those are not as oily. Spray it in your hand and then rub it on your face. Let it dry like you would do with a moisturizer, and then apply your make up as if you had a super clean face.
your best bet if you NEED to put make up on that badly is to put sunscreen on second. i would say dont worry about it though. protecting your skin is MUCH more important than looking good for a few pics. plus often times concealer makes the skin look orange and splotchy in photos taken in bright light.
