I am a teenager with mild acne. I want to know what make-up i can wear to cover my skin?

This make-up needs to cover my blemishes and at the same time help my skin instead of blocking my pores. I am looking to buy not just concealer, but also foundation or other beauty products and i can not afford overly expensive products.I am a teenager with mild acne. I want to know what make-up i can wear to cover my skin?
beautiful makeup begins with beautiful SKIN.

for mild to moderate breakout(unless diagnosed ';Clinical'; acne it's a breakout)- on a budget use Neutrogena Advanced Solutions. The cleanser exfoliates andy dry flaky skin, the day moisturizer is oil free and soothing, the night lotion has benzoyl peroxide to fight bacteria and breakouts over night.

i saw great results within a few days of consistent use.

for makeup- use an oil free, SHEER to MEDIUM coverage with a natural or matte finish. if you use a FULL coverage at first it will look like a thick layer of makeup over bumpy looking skin=awful.

don't use concealer all over, just where needed. dab a TINY bit on and pat out to blend seamlessly. concealer with salicylic acid? even better- clinique acne concealers.

spend your money on skincare and you will spend less on different makeups to ';conceal'; instead of fix your problem- that will render themselves useless and sit in a drawer.

eventually you may not even need concealer!

use an oil free makeup remover BEFORE cleansing to break down your makeup- otherwise you are just moving makeup around your face that will clog your pores.

clinique has great moderately priced skincare.I am a teenager with mild acne. I want to know what make-up i can wear to cover my skin?
Use pimple cream [Clean %26amp; Clear brand $5].

Wait for it to dry.

Put on moisturizer [Clean %26amp; Clear Acne Advantage $5]

Wait for it to dry up a little, but not too much because the next step needs a little moisture.

Put green concealer on your red spots. It is dry, but you put on moisturizer so that is okay. [Physicians Formula $5].

Put on your foundation, a full coverage liquid. [L'oreal Infallible $12].

You will need pimple cream because even though you are covering it up, you still want it to go away. There are concealers that have pimple-fighting ingredient built into them already, but most of the time, those aren't as strong.

Moisturizers with built in pimple fighting ingredients are good for your skin all over, plus (maybe just in my situation) they help the liquid foundation stay on.

Green is the opposite of red on the color spectrum and is said to take away any redness on the face.

A full coverage concealer will help cover up acne. L'oreal Infallible works really well and it is oil free.

All of these items can be found at your local Wal-mart. It is somewhat expensive the first time you go, but the makeup lasts a long time so you should not have to buy too often.
Pretty much any mineral foundation would be good -- all the department store companies make them now. They are REALLY good for your skin, blend in nicely, and don't make you break out. All you really need is one light layer for good coverage. Don't bother with liquid foundation for now if you're trying to get rid of acne -- you can try it out once your skin clears up, though.

If you want specific brands, I would reccommend Cover Girl Tru Blend mineral foundation. It only has six shades, but they match most skin tones really well. They also go on really light, and since I've started wearing it, my acne has started clearing up more quickly than it used to.
i don't really recommend a makeup ,but i found out that if you rub lotion on your pimple or an area to be covered and the you take foundation and take you middle finger and tap foundation on the area where you put the lotion and i hope that works that what i did .but that is what works for me
I reccomend not covering it all..

Becasue if you start with acne and try to cover it up it can get worse.. if its oil based.

but you should go and buy some proactive.. [of TV].

and let it all go away..

good luck :)
