Help! What make-up would be best for blue eyes, oval face, light brown hair?

I don't really know what color of eye shadow a person with blue eyes should wear, brown eye shadow seems dull. Foundation doesn't seem to do any thing, since it is to hide things, my skin is already fair, does foundation do anything else? And does Mascara dry out your eyelashes and make them smaller? I figure someone out there is specialized in this area. I need help... Please share your secrets!Help! What make-up would be best for blue eyes, oval face, light brown hair?
Peaches, browns, golds, and purples will make blue eyes look really good. I'm not sure what else you want foundation to do besides cover skin imperfections, but I guess you could use it as an eyeshadow base. I suppose certain types of mascara could dry out eyelashes (I have experienced this with water proof mascaras), but they won't make them smaller, they will just make them fall out, which makes them ';smaller'; by default as they will have to grow back. Just buy a conditioning mascara or a mascara primer, and you shouldn't have a problem.Help! What make-up would be best for blue eyes, oval face, light brown hair?
try muted shades (not too bright or intense in color) of green with a bit of shimmer. you can also try shimmery bronzes and gold if you don't like brown.

foundation is used mainly to even out your skin tone, not hide things. concealer is usually used to hide imperfections.

depending on what mascara you choose, some will have nourishing benefits that won't dry your lashes out. some examples are Maybelline Great Lash and Maybelline Full 'N Soft. look for mascaras that are washable or say that they nourish lashes if you don't want your lashes dried out. also make sure that you don't leave your mascara on for too long because that will suck the moisture out, too.
white, blue (never a light blue), and, light brown

ALMAY has eyeshadows already coordinated for blues

try ';striptease';

nude lips are very in right now, and also natural.

or try a matte nude lipstick,

and you can also play up your pretty eyes by doing a doll eye, here is a tutorial (this website has great tutorials):

here is a good look:

i made directions:

First, use a primer for the eyes, and face, coverup, etc, and then maybe a light shimmery bronzing powder in a pinkish shade for that summery glow, then line your top lid and bottom lid with a pencil eyeliner in black, and smudge just a bit, or use a powder eyeliner.

Then, use some shimmery gold cream eyeshadow just above the line you made on the top lid, with something like this:

and line your bottom lids also, with gold, going with more as you reach the outer edges of your eyes.

Then, use a very very black volumizing mascara, or false lashes, your pic.

Here is some great volumizing mascara from Bourjois:

and finish off with a VERY VERY shiny pretty, light pink gold sheer glossy lip, like in this example, in sweet dreams:

of course, all my examples are just that, can be replaced by anything similar.

or you could do smoky eyes, with blacks, greys, VOLUMIZED lashes, Bourjois has a GREAT mascara.

this is a GREAT eyeshadow, really versatile:

blend or use certain shades in the palette. ';forest mist'; would be a good color, the greens and browns would bring out your eyes.
nothing you sound fat
I'm not specialized in make-up but I remember seeing coral eyeshadow look STUNNIG on blue eyes. I think it was Kate Hudson that I saw this on but I can't find that exact picture...

Here's a pic of the eyeshadow colour:

Having light brown hair, I think if you chose a perfect eyebrow liner colour to define your brows, will contrast beautifully along with the coral eyeshadow, and your blue eyes! Like a sunset :)

Black or brown mascara will make you look even more stunning. Apply as many coats as you can before it begins to look clumpy.

A little peachy blush and any pinkish gloss....

I think it would be a great everyday look for u.
for eyes, use colors like brown, bronze, gold, and earth tones.but never use blue. try loreal eye shadow in wood rose quads. browns may seem a little dull, but they actually make your blue eyes pop.

foundation is a base coat for all your makeup, so it makes things like blush stay on better and longer.

ive never heard of mascara drying out your eyelashes, as long as you take it off every time you should be fine. unless its a really crappy mascara. try covergirl lash exact
golds look great with blue. Also, browns do work pretty welll, as well as all neutral shades. It depends on the look you're going for really and what time of day. Visit Sephora's website to browse colors.
