In regards to the prayers you have missed I’m not too sure.

A good start would be to start praying all 5 Salah and then start with the ones you have missed maybe.How important it is to make up missed prayers?
Repentance for neglecting prayer

I am 38 years old man. till the age of 25 I did'nt prayed. please advice me what I have to do for this?

Praise be to Allaah.

Remember how Allaah has blessed you by bringing you back to Islam after you have been neglecting salaah, and keep on doing the prayers at the right times. Do more naafil (supererogatory or extra) prayers to make up for the fard (obligatory) prayers that you have missed, as was advised in the saheeh hadeeth narrated by Hurayth ibn Qubaysah, who said: “I came to Madeenah and prayed, ‘O Allaah, send me a righteous companion.’ I went and sat with Abu Hurayrah and said: ‘I asked Allaah to bless me with a righteous companion; tell me a hadeeth that you heard from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), so that I may benefit therefrom.’ He said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say that the first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is sound, he will be successful, and if it is lacking in any way, he will be doomed. If his obligatory prayers are lacking, the Lord will say: “Look and see whether My slave has any voluntary prayers which may be used to make up what is lacking in his obligatory prayers.” Then all his deeds will be examined and dealt with in the same way.’” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 413; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2020). Abu Dawood reported from Anas ibn Hakeem al-Dabbi that he came to Madeenah and met Abu Hurayrah. He said: “He asked me about my lineage so I told him about it, then he said: ‘O young man, shall I not tell you a hadeeth?’ I said, ‘Of course, may Allaah have mercy on you,’ and I think he mentioned it from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He said: ‘The first thing that people will be asked about on the Day of Resurrection will be their prayers. Our Lord will say to His angels (although He knows best): “Look at My slave’s prayers: are they complete or is something lacking?” If they are complete, they will be recorded as such, but if something is lacking, He will say: “Look and see if My slave has any voluntary prayers to his credit.” If this proves to be the case, He will say: “Make up his (missing) obligatory prayers with his voluntary prayers.” Then the rest of his deeds will be dealt with in the same manner.’” (Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2571)

I love listening to the Islamic stories and was wondering if anyone had any good ones? Heres one.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He remembered his grandmother's warning about praying on time:
'My son, you shouldn't leave prayer to this late time'.
His grandmother's age was 70 but, whenever she heard the Adhan, she got up like an arrow and performed Salah.
He, however could never win over his ego to get up and pray.
Whatever he did, his Salah was always the last to be offered and he prayed it quickly to get it in on time.
Thinking of this, he got up and realized that there were only 15 minutes left before Salat-ul Isha.
He quickly made Wudhu and performed Salat-ul Maghrib.
While making Tasbih, he again remembered his grandmother and was embarrassed by how he had prayed.
His grandmother prayed with such tranquillity and peace.
He began making Dua and went down to make Sajdah and stayed like that for a while.
He had been at work all day and was tired, very tired.
He awoke abruptly to the sound of noise and shouting.
He was sweating profusely. He looked around. It was very crowded.
Every direction he looked in was filled with people.
Some stood frozen looking around, some were running left and right and some were on their knees with their heads in their hands just waiting.
Pure fear and apprehension filled him as he realized where he was. His heart was about to burst.
It was the Day of Judgment.
When he was alive, he had heard many things about the questioning on the Day of Judgment, but that seemed so long ago.
Could this be something his mind made up?
No, the wait and the fear were so great that he could not have imagined this.
The interrogation was still going on.
He began moving frantically from people to people to ask if his name had been called. No one could answer him.
All of a sudden his name was called and the crowd split into two and made a passageway for him.
Two angels grabbed his arms and led him forward. He walked with unknowing eyes through the crowd. The angels brought him to the centre and left him there.
His head was bent down and his whole life was passing in front of his eyes like a movie.
He opened his eyes but saw only another world.
The people were all helping others.
He saw his father running from one lecture to the other, spending his wealth in the way of Islam.
His mother invited guests to their house and one table was being set while the other was being cleared.
He pleaded his case, ';I too was always on this path. I helped others. I spread the word of Allah. I performed my Salah. I fasted in the month of Ramadhan.';
';Whatever Allah ordered us to do, I did.';
';Whatever he ordered us not to do, I did not.';
He began to cry and think about how much he loved Allah.
He knew that whatever he had done in life would be less than what Allah deserved and his only protector was Allah He was sweating like never before and was shaking all over.
His eyes were fixed on the scale, waiting for the final decision. At last, the decision was made.
The two angels with sheets of paper in their hands, turned to the crowd.
His legs felt like they were going to collapse. He closed his eyes as they began
To read the names of those people who were to enter Jahannam.
His name was read first.
He fell on his knees and yelled that this couldn't be, ';How could I go to Jahannam? I served others all my life, I spread the word of Allah to others.';
His eyes had become blurry and he was shaking with sweat.
The two angels took him by the arms.
As his feet dragged, they went through the crowd and advanced toward the blazing flames of Jahannam.
He was yelling and wondered if there was any person who was going to help him.
He was yelling of all the good deeds he had done, how he had helped his father, his fasts, prayers, the Noble Qur'an that he read, he was asking if none of them would help him.
The Jahannam angels continued to drag him.
They had gotten closer to the Hellfire.
He looked back and these were his last pleas.
Had not Rasulullah [SAW] said, ';How clean would a person be who bathes in a river five times a day, so too does the Salah performed five times cleanse someone of their sins?';
He began yelling, ';My prayers? My prayers? My prayers?';
The two angels did not stop, and they came to the edge of the abyss of Jahannam.
The flames of the fire were burning his face.
He looked back one last time, but his eyes were dry of hope and he had nothing left in him.
One of the angels pushed him in.
He found himself in the air and falling towards the flames.
He had just fallen five or six feet when a hand grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back.
He lifted his head and saw an old man with a long white beard.
He wiped some dust off himself and asked him, ';Who are you?';
The old man replied, ';I am your prayers.';
';Why are you so late?! I was almost in the Fire! You rescued me at the ...
i think you should start praying all 5 prayers because missing even one prayer costs you alot. like theres big punishments. i missed so many prayers too, but someone gave a cassette which tells all about prayers and if u miss one of them, it tells its consequences. when you hear about the consequences, im pretty sure, you will start praying all five prayers, InshAllah.
in the saheeh hadeeth narrated by Hurayth ibn Qubaysah, who said: “I came to Madeenah and prayed, ‘O Allaah, send me a righteous companion.’ I went and sat with Abu Hurayrah and said: ‘I asked Allaah to bless me with a righteous companion; tell me a hadeeth that you heard from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), so that I may benefit therefrom.’ He said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say that the first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayer. If it is sound, he will be successful, and if it is lacking in any way, he will be doomed. If his obligatory prayers are lacking, the Lord will say: “Look and see whether My slave has any voluntary prayers which may be used to make up what is lacking in his obligatory prayers.” Then all his deeds will be examined and dealt with in the same way.’” (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 413; see also Saheeh al-Jaami’, 2020).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described not praying as kufr, and he said: “The covenant that stands between us and them is prayer; whoever gives it up is a kaafir.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (2545) and by Ahmad and others; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani.
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Shaytaan ties three knots at the back of the head of any one of you when he goes to sleep, striking each knot and saying: “You have a long night ahead, so sleep.” If he wakes up and remembers Allaah, one knot is undone. If he does wudoo’, two knots are undone. If he prays, all the knots are undone, and he starts the day energetic and in a good mood. Otherwise, he starts his day in a bad mood and feeling lazy.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (3269) and Muslim (776).
Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr (may Allaah have mercy on him)said: This hadeeth indicates that the shaytaan causes a person to sleep and makes him feel heavy and lazy through his efforts and waswaas, and his ability to tempt, mislead and make falsehood seem attractive, except the sincere slaves of Allaah.
This hadeeth indicates that the shaytaan may be expelled by means of remembrance of Allaah (dhikr), as well as wudoo’ and prayer. End quote. Al-Tahmeed (19/45).
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: Undoubtedly prayer itself offers good health to the body, and helps the body to rid itself of impurities and keep that which most beneficial thing for it, as well as offering protection to one’s faith and happiness in this world and the hereafter.
Similarly, qiyaam al-layl is one of the most beneficial means of protecting one’s well being and preventing many chronic diseases, and it is one of the most energizing things for the body, soul and heart, as it says in al-Saheehayn… and he quoted the hadeeth.
it is very important that you pray them all qadha..some people pray for the years they've missed earlier in their life..and don't feel lazy about praying when it is prayer time or you will be punished badly because all allah (sw) wants from us is like 20 minutes in total out of 24hrs we have for ourselves...so please don't even neglect that much of God's right on you..
if you had read the night journey the most trusted hadith of islam. you would know that when allah lowered a golden ladder from the first heaven and mohammad climbed up to heaven and talked to allah. allah wanted muslims to pray to him 50 times a day but mohammad was able to talk him down to 5. is mohammad smarter than allah?
